Really great products. We came to Blue Ridge two years ago and got the Tuscan Olive Oil and the Sicilian Lemon White Balsamic Vinegar and savored it. We just came back to Blue Ridge this year and bought 3 bottles of each because it’s soooo good and you really can’t find a comparable product anywhere.

My wife and I along with 4 friends spent a very romantic vacation in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We went into town to do some sightseeing and shopping, we visited the Blue Ridge Olive Company. This is a must stop, the personal were so knowledgeable and helpful. They throughly explained the health benefits of the different olive oils and other uses. We bought some spices and used them on our steak dinner and the states were the best.

We were a little nervous to walk in since it seemed so quiet and sophisticated in there but the lady who helped us was BEYOND helpful and gave us many suggestions and samples. She had us try the chocolate and orange oils in the vanilla bean ice cream and OMG! Yes we bought them both. You'll LOVE your visit. Theres an oil for anyone and everyone!

Second time I have visited the store and this experience was even better than the first. We were greeted when we walked in and since most of my friends were new to the store, we got a great tour of the store and the tasting of all the olive oils. I think the store person who helped with either Tom or Scott but he had great energy and was very informative! And then he left us be to roam the store. We liked how he wasn't following us around and gave us our space. It was refreshing! And I purchased olive oils with an additional spout...and when I got home after the weekend realized that the spout never made it into by bag. I emailed the company and within minutes I received an email back and they are sending me a new spout. Again, refreshing a store took the time to continue customer service well past the sale. LOVE THIS STORE!! Can't wait to go back!

My husband and I stopped in here on a whim as we walked the streets of Blue Ridge, and I'm so glad we did! As the name implies, this store sells Olive oils. LOTS of different olive oils, many infused with amazing flavors. I don't cook with olive oil often, so this didn't interest me a bunch. Don't get me wrong. Amazing flavors, just not my thing. However, they also have many different infused flavors of both regular and white balsamic vinegars. My husband and I both fell in love with a different flavor, so we wound up walking out with a bottle of dark chocolate infused balsamic vinegar AND a bottle of blackberry ginger infused balsamic vinegar. They are amazing, and I can't wait to cook with them. The staff were helpful, offering lots of good info, and they can help you pair vinegar with oil if that is your thing. For whatever flavor you decide on, they fill a bottle custom, right for you on the spot. If you are in the area, this shop is definitely worth checking out.

I'm a foodie, and loved this unique little storefront that sells (mainly) an unbelievable inventory and assortment of light and dark balsamic vinegars and extra virgin olive oils, plus other gift items. I bought three balsalmic vinegars -- two darks (Fig and Raspberry) and one white (Cranberry/Pear).
And you're thinking, what would I do with those products? Make your own salad dressing! Which if you've never done before, you're in for a real tasty treat. The recipe (proportions) for a salad, sized for two people, is: Mix together 3 Tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1 Tablespoon of Balsamic Vinegar, add a DASH each of garlic powder, garlic salt, lemon pepper and a couple of drops of prepared mustard (not dried powder mustard). Mustard acts as a binder, but if you don't like mustard you can omit, although the dressing will separate a little if it's not whisked and tossed immediately. Whisk this together and pour over your mixed greens. You can add cut tomatoes, cucumbers, cranberries, parmesan cheese, or goat cheese, or add anything else you want. Toss and serve. For four people, double the recipe. You will give up store bought salad dressings.
What's cool about this place is the taste-testing part. They provide tiny plastic containers where you can self-serve a tasting. No pressure while you're exploring your palate. Try to go after lunch, or at least not on an empty stomache if you're serious about tasting several, because it is, after all, oil and vinegar you're tasting.
The bottles come in different sizes and pricing begins at $9.95 a bottle. Certainly not cheap because it calculates to over $1 per ounce. But heck, you're on vacation, buy a couple of bottles for yourself and a couple balsamic bottles as gifts. Your friends will love them. (Be sure to give them the dressing recipe) Some of these aged balsamic vinegars are so smooth and sweet that you can pour a little over ice cream, parmesan cheese or strawberries, and you probably didn't know you could do that.
This store carries alot of different fun and unsual flavors, not easilly found in grocery stores, so give yourself a little time to explore. If you buy only the balsamic vinegar, you can mix it with a (really good) brand of storebought extra virgin olive oil. But why not get their flavored-infused olive oil, which you can also use for dipping a really good bread. This is a great place to check out for anyone (except probably not small children).

What size and price bottles can you purchase?

Hi. They have three sizes in really nice dark green bottles with Blue Ridge Olive Oil Company lettered on them. I can easily answer your question, since my wife happens to have all three sizes in our cupboard. The small size is 6.8 oz. and costs, I think 9.95. Middle size is 12.7 oz, and the large one is 25.4 oz. The large one is roughly the size of a fifth of whiskey. I'm not sure of the prices of the middle and large size, but I'm sure the store would be happy to help you over the phone. It's a very pleasant place with really nice and knowledgeable staff.
