    Great Beach
Always love visiting Lido Key Beach. Great location for many people we like to use the access from St Armand’s Circle. The beach is powdery sugar sand and the water entrance is nicely sloped. No life guard or restroom at this particular location but you can shower off at the end of your visit. Good for kids and adults.

    One of my 'Laughing Places'.
Lido is perfectly situated between Siesta and Longboat. The beach was one of the best until a hurricane changed it back pre-2000 but the location is everything. Siesta is the party Key and Longboat is more subdued but Lido is well within walking distance of 'The Circle' (St. Armand's) and if you can't find it there....well, maybe you're too fussy. Shops, cafe's, restaurants. And on some days walking is preferred because parking can be 'interesting', hence the benefit of Lido. Suggestion; hotel, top floor, ocean facing, slider open all night listening to the surf!

Lido Beach is one of numerous islands in this area. Very nice ,traffic is very heavy at certain times of the day and in the evening wide clean beaches . You can go out a good way in the water before it drops off

A very nice beach without all the hustle and bustle like at Siesta Key Beach. We were fortunate to find available parking. The water was great, the sand smooth with a few shells and enjoyed the few hours spent getting some Vitamin D.

Loved this beach! Beautiful white sand and clear blue water. Not too crowded during the week and lifeguards, bathrooms and showers. Couldn’t ask more in a beach. We stayed right across the street so traveled everyday for a week and totally loved it as a relaxing vacation.

We vacationed in Siesta Key for 25 years before trying Lido. We never thought any beach could compare to Siesta but we were wrong! Lido is by far the best beach in the area. The sand and water are just as gorgeous as Siesta with probably half the crowds. It’s truly a hidden gem that no one knows about. And if you want to drive to Siesta to eat or shop it’s only 20 minutes down the road!

We had visited the park (lovely park with great rest rooms!) and saw a path to the beach. Having a vacation resort on the beach, we were not too enthused about walking it. A local exited from the path and told us how much he liked walking the beach so we took a look. We absolutely loved it! It was a cool winter day so about the only people on the beach were shell hunters. The sand was flat and seemed to be packed down so walking was very easy in our walking shoes. There were lots of shells to enjoy. It was a very pleasant 2 hours. Would return.

Excellent holiday location. I have visited this location many times. But ladies and families please look up. There are privately owned drones being used (probably spying on the ladies wearing swim wear, hopefully not the children). We saw them over our hotel and over the beach

By far my favourite beach in this part of Florida.
Pros: very good quality, clean, white and soft sand. I’d say it varies from part to part - the further away you move from St. Armands circle towards its far end, the darker and coarser the sand becomes. But there’s a large free car park at the far end, toilets, swimming pool ($4), essentials shop and a small fast food cafe, of which are none near St. Armands. No lifeguards near the circle part.
Beware: as above re toilets. Nearest would be at Kilwins ice cream shop on the circle, if you care for scoop you can use customer restrooms.
Also, there was some large construction work at the far end of the beach going on in January 2019.
Parking is free for 3 hours between Monday and Friday. It’s quite easy to get a ticket $25 fine. Parking is Free on weekend.
Always check both red and rip tide warnings!
