Excellent outdoor activities, beautiful trails, helpful and friendly staff. Love our little cabin and the “ babbling brook” that we can hear from the porch!!! Definitely coming back.

We walked the Trahlyta Trail which was their lake trail. About a mile. Pretty lake; very peaceful. Park seemed to be clean; it was 99% empty when we went on Sept 4. Would recommend for a break from the waterfall hiking you do in this...More

The park is a little out of the way for a day trip and there is not much to do if you are not camping. There is a pretty easy flat walk with lots of shade around the lake that offers nice views.

First time visiting Vogel State Park. They have something for everyone. Can’t wait to rent a kayak and get on the lake. Camping sites were clean and easy to manipulate. Can’t wait for the next trip.

Enroute to Atlanta from Brasstown Bald, this place shows up nestled in the Chattahoochee Forest. A beautiful lake and a fun hangout place! Must visit!

We normally camp but this trip we’re in a cabin. Everyone said this was a “must do”. For us this was a little commercial. Lots to do. Kayak rentals paddle boats, gravel walking trails around the lake, small trails to a small waterfall. We saw...More

Stopped here to view the falls. The park is very well maintained and a great place to stop. Trails are nice and easy walk to the falls and spillway. Next trip family and I will stay and camp

Not far at all. Maybe 200 yards to the restroom and 100 ft to parking.
