Drove up to Brasstown Bald. Beautiful views, but next time I need to take my binoculars. We made this a quick visit but will certainly be back. Would be awesome place for picnic and there is grills and picnic tables available.

I went in October 2017 and I saw dogs on the trail on a leash, but they are not allowed in the visitor center or the observatory. The trail is open March to October. Hope this helps!
