We did the 3D2N trek to Rinjani summit. Everything was well organised and it was easy to come from Bali as we got picked straight from the harbour in Bangsal, Lombok. The food we got served on the trek was also great. Regarding the trek itself, I strongly recommend choosing the 4D3N option for the summit if you are an inexperienced trekker. That way you can enjoy the trek better and not be so tired afterwards.

We had an excellent guide, Irwan. He was so patient and friendly and led us up to the summit. The porters were also very good. The food were yummy. Imagine having coke, sprite and hot food such as fried rice and spagetti up in the mountains was fantastic! Just want to thank them for their excellent service by giving them an excellent review here. If you want to go up Rinjani, do look for Herman Trekker!

We went for 4 days 3 night Rinjani trekking trip with our guide Hamdi and his team(porters). We are well taken care of during the whole trip, food prepared for us in huge portion. Hamdi and team is fun to be with, besides being so helpful, and speaks good English. The journey is very challenging for me. Thanks to them, we are able to complete summit attack at Rinjani and come back safely. Good quality tent and sleeping bag/mat provided. Hats off to the porters who carried all our camping gears and cooking materials and they cook delicious meals for us! Thank you!
Then, we followed another guide Irwan to waterfalls & Pergasingan hill. Beautiful view up there. Irwan also took very good care of me, as I was having muscle-ache from Rinjani hike.
We spend our last few days at Kuta, Lombok. Herman & Agus brought us around and visited the beaches, & snorkelling. They are very friendly, helpful and speak good English.
Overall, we enjoyed this trip with all our helpful friendly guides. Thank you very much!

We've done the 3 days / 2 nights trek to the summit, lake and hot springs. It was just perfect, the guide Lin was very professional and nice: perfect English and good hikking pace. The trek is not easy but the rewards of the landscapes is worth it.
The introduction of the trek was clear, the organisation during the trek was amazing, meals were good and the material quality very good. Thanks Herman, Lin and the porters who have done such a good work!

Had an overnight ascent to the crater with Herman in late Nov with my partner! The ascent was very well thought out and i would say most importantly, he is very responsible and experienced! He had arranged everything from a fried egg sandwich to awesome snacks and fruits.
The entire process of keeping in contact was very easy (thru whatsapp) and he sent a driver down to pick us up from senggigi after our dives in the Gili. Go for Herman Trekker if you you are planning for an ascent to the top of Rinjani! I am already planning to summit Rinjani with more friends this year!

I was recommended by friends to engage Herman & his team. Herman was very responsive throughout the whole booking process. He answered all questions and was very prompt in replies. Prior to our arrival, I also advised that I had a pre-existing ankle injury which could act up during the hike and if necessary, we would have to exercise flexibility to our itinerary. Herman was very reassuring and promised that he would take care of us and to guide us successfully to the summit. We are two ladies and we engaged two guides - Herman and Saf and had three porters.
Throughout the climb, Herman and Saf were very accommodating and allowed us to trek at our pace. They were very friendly and fun to trek with, constantly looking out for us and making sure that we were all doing well. The trek to summit was very tough for us and we would not have made it without their encouragement and their help. I fallen ill when descending on our last day and both guides were very understanding and patient. The porters were also wonderful, they cooked our meals and ensured that we were comfortable during the 3D2N climb. Herman also helped to organize a private boat to Gili upon our descend.
We would definitely recommend Herman and his team to anyone who is keen on climbing Mt Rinjani! A very memorable first mountain climbing experience!

It was the best experience in my life so far. Starting from the excellent service to the beautiful no breathtaking views. Our guide Hamdi was the best really funny guy but also serious when needed. So we always felt save and cared about. This tour is more than highly recommended! Even the food during the tracking was incredible thanks to the porters. So if you want the experience of your lifetime do this treck. But be ready to push your body and mind to the limits.

We wanted to do a 2D-1N trekking to the mount Rinjani so we contacted Herman trekking. He answered really quickly with a detailed schedule that met all our requirements (transports,hotel...). Therefore, to book the trekking we just had to make a paypal deposit (really easy).
As we landed in Lombok airport, they were already waiting for us. The room in the hotel was very confortable and clean. We had dinner at the hotel and the food was very tasty and with a very good price. During dinner they explained us the trekking plan answering all our questions.
The next day after breakfast they took us with a motorbike to the starting gate.
Once you start the trekking they offered soft drinks and water. The food was very abundante and tasty cooked by the porters. When we arrived to the crater the porters had already everything prepared, so we could take lots of photos and have dinner during the sunset.
Next morning, we did the way back to the hotel and they took us to our next destination.
In conclusion, everything was perfect and the treatment that we received from the team (Herman, Hamdi our guide, the porters, the hotel staff) was awesome.
The experience is truly recommended.

We went for 3D2N trek with Herman trekker. It was an amazing experience to climb Mt. Rinjani, and we couldn't make it without Herman trekker and the team. The guide and porters were absolutely supportive and friendly. They cooked delicious food and did their best to make sure that we had a great trip. Everything is well organised and went smooth. Thanks Herman trekker and your best team ever. Highly recommended!
