The two-day trek to the crater rim of the Rinjani can be described as a wonderful adventure. Beautiful nature, extreme views and that with an excellent organization. We did this trip with an untrained group of 7 friends. The climb was quite tough, but the descent is not to be underestimated. (I couldn't go up or down stairs the next day) But the view of the crater rim is unbelievably beautiful. A few tips? - During the day it was a pleasant 20 ° C, but at night at the top it cooled to 4 ° C, so warm clothes are not a luxury. - We did a day off to recover the next day. - Don't get too close to the monkeys. - Good luck!

We have booked this 2 days trek with this company and you can book with your eyes closed. They were very professional: they managed the transfer in private driver from Lombok airport and accommodation on site. Our guide "YOS" was at the top level, always attentive and attentive. We talked a lot during the trek, always smiling and making jokes. It will remain a beautiful human experience with him and a wonderful memory with the sunrise on the Peak of the volcano Rinjani, just magic !!! The porters take care of everything: meals, tents, bottled water, snacks. Small detail, prepare to suffer to reach the top, no bread no gain as they say ... we kept a leg and calf aches during the following days but it was worth it. Thanks Yos

It was worth all the effort to get to the top! There are sections with a lot of slope and dust that make it harder. Thanks to the agency Rinjani Sunrise and the crew for organizing the experience, with an unbeatable treatment and care of every detail in meals and camping. Mention the carelessness that exists in terms of garbage collection, there is no awareness to take care of the environment

The tour was just awesome and great organized! Already with the booking everything worked wonderfully - E-Mails were always answered within shortest time. The tour includes picking up somewhere in Lombok and transferring it somewhere after the tour ... in our case a full four hour drive to Gili Asahan. The overnight stay at the lodge is spotless, the breakfast very good. Afterwards we went with our fluent english speaking guide Hendri towards the summit. At a first stop we were served a delicious lunch. Strengthened, we then tackled the summit. Shortly after 2:00 pm we made it and were able to enjoy the incredible view to the fullest. While we were recovering from the ascent, our sleeping place was set up by Hendri and the porters Heri and Pazri. We felt very well from the summit and were treated by the three incredibly hospitable - including fresh popcorn, ginger tea and a fresh curry for dinner. The next morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast before we marched back towards the valley. Once at the bottom we were again spoiled with a delicious lunch. All in all a great experience. Many thanks to Hendri, Heri and Pazri for 2 unforgettable days! Ps the way is easy, but you should bring something with you. After all, it goes from 600 to 2,600 meters above sea level.
