We are team of 4 peoples, doing the 4D3N and highly recommend it! Starting from Sembalun (the east side) and ending in Senaru. The first day, we walk up about 8h and have a nicest camp area at Sembalun crater rim (special thanks to our guide and the porters who was set up it great). The meals during the hike also were great and we are never hungry hahaha....

Thanks to the company for the great time, well organized and highly recommend them!

My partner and I had a fantastic experience on Mt Rinjani, mainly due to the professionalism and commitment the guys at Rinjani Sunrise put into making us feel at home during the course of the trek. They not only carried almost 30 kilograms of supplies each up the mountain on their shoulders, but they assisted us through tough terrain, put up our tents, and made us amazing meals, in locations we would normally imagine ourselves only eating sandwiches. We did the 3 day 2 night package, and though we found the second day brutally tough, we're glad as hell we made this trip. We had the time of our lives, and we owe it all to Rinjani Sunrise - Special thanks goes to our guide, Bayu, for his assistance and motivation, and our two porters who carried all our food and equipment up and back down the Mountain. I would recommend Rinjani Sunrise to anyone who's ready to take on what a hike up Mount Rinjani has to offer

We chose the 3 days for the trek and it was great. Everything is very well organized, the food is delicious and is given in very large quantities. Special mention to our guide Yos, brave and attentive and holders, real supermen !!! The trek is designed for people in good health but is not particularly sporty, everything went very well! One of my fondest memory of Indonesia!

Me and my friend booked the 4D3N summit trek via Sembalun package with Rinjani Sunrise and our experience was way beyond expectations!

Mus who handled our booking was very professional and helpful through the booking process, promptly responding to all our inquiries and assuring us of our uncertainties.

Upon arrival in Lombok Airport, we were greeted by the our driver (Abu) who drove us on a 3hours journey to Sinar Rinjani (our accommodation). The drive was smooth and Abu stopped us at a local restaurant which he frequent for lunch, food was good.

Before our 4D3N trek, they had someone to brief us on our route. This was good for us to know our schedule for the next few days. The trek up to the summit was honestly horrendous although the view was amazing and it made all that sweat worth it. Our guides - Yuss and Rizky were a great help to us. Without them, it would be very hard for us to manage the trek. They were friendly, helpful and careful during the trek to ensure our safety. Our porters - Cheko and Addy were great cooks, whipping up tasty meals (large portions) everyday, ensuring that we don't go hungry during our trek.

Overall, i had a wonderful experience with Rinjani Sunrise and would highly recommend them!

P/S: We made it to the summit, the view was amazing!!!

I would strongly recommend using 'Rinjani Sunrise' for anyone planning to trek to the summit of Rinjani. Mus, the company's founder, was very informative and understanding when we had a bit of difficulties with the payment due to the withdrawal limit at local ATMs. As a former guide he is clearly aware of both the clients needs as well as those of the guides and porters.

The climb itself went off without a hitch. Our guide had a great collective knowledge of the mountain, keeping us cheerful with jokes and allowing us to learn more about the local language and culture. As a vegetarian i had anticipated some difficulties regarding food but they checked everything they used without fail. The food itself was plentiful, tasty and clearly planned with high-altitude hiking. Whenever anyone was tired the guide insisted on taking our bags, making the hike a great deal easier. The trek to summit during the hours of darkness was made easier by their cheerful singing, long after all of us had lost the energy even to mumble along!

I therefore can't put a single fault on the whole trip; i would most definitely advise any would-be climbers to go with this great organisation

We summited using the Sembalun route and finish at Senaru village. We went with Rinjani Sunrise and I can't say enough wonderful things about the company and their team. Everything went very smoothly- from the airport transfers to and from the hotels, and more importantly, throughout the trek. The equipment was great, the guides were extremely knowledgable (Ron), and the porters, all took very good care of us. we were satisfied with the amount we paid and the quality of the items.
I would recommend Rinjani Sunrise to anyone planning their Rinjani tour. You won't be disappointed!!

My girlfriend and I did the 2 nights/3 days hike. Very important to have warm clothes. At camp 1 and 2, it is cold and the wind is strong. It is absolutely necessary to be in long pants, with a windproof coat and ideally a toque. Wake up around 2-3 am to climb the summit of Mount Rinjani. The climb takes about 4 hours and the last hour is extremely difficult, even for very fit and experienced people. It is usually at this time that many unfortunately give up. We arrive at the top for sunrise and we can take the famous photo with the sign. Then, we descend for 2-3 hours to camp 1 for lunch. After lunch, we leave for the day. We descend for about 2-3 hours in the middle of the mountains, around the lake, to the hot spring. A short swim, dinner and we leave for a 3h-4h climb to camp 2 in time for dinner. The next day, we go back down for about 6-7 hours and that's the end. the company that we went with on this trip was Rinjani Sunrise. Ucok, the manager arranged our transfer to Senaru, they picked us up as soon as we arrived in Lombok the day before the trek and took us to the place where he was waiting for us, smiling, with a welcome tea. Short briefing of the trek, double check our prepartion, and bring us to our accommodation. After the trek, they transfer us to our next destination (for us it was in Kuta, at the other end of the island).

We had an amazing experience climbing to the summit of Mt. Rinjani, 3D/2N we started at Sembalum and finished in Senaru. We camped on the crater rims a truly magical experience with great views. The climb was tough but the views were worth it.
We were taken care all the way by our wonderful, friendly and patient guide and all the amazing strong porters. The team from Rinjani Sunrise were the best.
They were encouraging and the food was so delicious and there was plenty of it.
I do recommend that anyone thinking of doing the hike do some training before hand as day 2 the summit day is a long day but with lots of rewards.
Mount Rinjani is a must see when in Lombok.
Thanks again for a very memorable experience.

My girlfriend and I had the most incredible experience! We booked the trip with Rinjani Sunrise, the communication via WhatsApp was great and provided us with all the information we needed as well as organising pick up and drop off. Our guide Eddie and porters were all amazing, every meal was cooked as if we were eating in a restaraunt and they went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time possible. The camping equipment was all new and great quality. From start to finish the experience was perfect thank you so much for taking us on the adventure of a lifetime!

The two-day trek to the crater rim of the Rinjani can be described as a wonderful adventure. Beautiful nature, extreme views and that with an excellent organization. We did this trip with an untrained group of 7 friends. The climb was quite tough, but the descent is not to be underestimated. (I couldn't go up or down stairs the next day) But the view of the crater rim is unbelievably beautiful. A few tips?
- During the day it was a pleasant 20 ° C, but at night at the top it cooled to 4 ° C, so warm clothes are not a luxury.
- We did a day off to recover the next day. - Don't get too close to the monkeys.
- Good luck!
