A wonderful experience going up the Rinjani Senaru crater rim. Pak Morrist himself was very helpful to arrange our trip/transfers from Senggigi to Senaru.
Pak Morrist conducted Climb/safety briefing at Lighthouse Hotel where we were accommodated before our climb up on 20/11/22. We got wonderful and hardworking guide Pak Sugeng and 2 porters to make our trip up a success albeit difficult and tough climb up/down. Walking poles were provided gratis. Food/refreshments along the way were acceptable and good. The boys had already set up camp at Senaru crater rim when we arrived after the 10hrs climb, an hour before sunset with clear skies and surrounding. It was cold up there and ensure you have enough cold clothes with you. The boys were helpful to carry my wife’s haversack.
All the pains and difficulties were rewarded with a superb view of Rinjani, Anak Segara volcano and the everlasting beauty of the surrounding lake and mountain terrains.
It was fantastic and worth every cent spent.
The trip down were no less arduous and difficult but we again made it safely after 8.5hrs. We were old folks, me 60 yrs old and my patient 58yrs old wife. Pak Morrist even arranged for our pleasant drive transfer all the way to Selong Blanak, south of Lombok.
We would highly recommend Morrist Adventure who are reliable, honest, trustworthy and safe outfit.

FIVE STARS for us. First of all, we liked the direct communication. They responded very fast to our e-mails and the answers to our questions were clear. Once we got there we met Morrist and our wonderful guide Lang. They explained what we could expect and were very clear about the different stages of the climb. Throughout the whole trip Lang’s briefings were very useful. Thanks to him we knew how to spread our energy for the three days trekking. Our porters Lee & John were very friendly and cooked amazing dinner with an original appetizer every evening. The material was perfectly clean and smelled freshly washed. They gave us walking sticks, gloves and head-flashlights. All in all, we had the most beautiful adventure in our life and would definitely recommend Morrist Adventure to guide anyone who would also like to take this trip. Most importantly; don’t worry about a thing, because every little thing is gonna be allright 😉. Jonas & Melanie

We joined the 3D2N trekking programme of Mount Rinjani. The ride from airport to the Morrist office was provided. Morrist has explained very clearly the route we are taking in the upcoming 3 days. The package also includes accommodation for the night before trekking and it was decent. Porters were amazing as they walked very fast to get to the campsite to set up our tent and prepare us food and drinks when we got there - freshly cooked and hot! The tent was a lot more comfortable than expected - camping pillow and mattress were offered and sleeping bag was warm. Our guide was brilliant too - he guided us carefully how to get over tough steps and helped us took lots of photos! He also carried a lot of snacks and water for us. The road to summit was incredibly hard to trek, especially only few hours of sleep and freezing cold, but once we made it we felt this was totally worth the effort. Incredible views and sunrise up there! The ride back to our hotel after trekking was also included. Highly recommend to choose programmes from Morrist!

When in Lombok a trip to Rinjani mountain is a must!
Me and some friends chose the 3 day 2 night trip from Sembalun to torean, we were joined by our amazing guide Anton and 3 porters.
Our trip started in Senaru the night before where we prepared for the trip. Early the next morning we were picked up and driven to the start point in Sembalun, getting the tickets was an easy and quick process, after that we began the hike.
The first day was spent walking to the first camp spot on the crater rim, on the way we stopped at each checkpoint for lunch and snacks made by our porters who were always one step ahead of us so when we arrived at each spot everything was already prepared and ready, by the time we reached the camp area our tents were already up and ready for us to relax and enjoy the sunset.
The second day started very early at around 3am, this was the hike to the summit. This part is very difficult but super beautiful, as we approached the top the sun was rising, the views were breathtaking. After arriving at the summit you have time to relax, take photos and enjoy the scenery before starting the much quicker descent back to camp. After a quick rest and food we were on our way to the second camp spot, anak segara lake. Unfortunately for us it was raining during this part but it was still extremely fun and beautiful, luckily by the time we arrived at the lake the rain had stopped so we could enjoy and relax at the amazing hot springs before another stunning sunset.
The third and final day started with coffee and breakfast while enjoying the sunrise. We then started the final hike to the village of Torean. Again this part was difficult and long, especially after the previous day's of walking but the journey through the valley had some incredible scenery including a huge waterfall. We arrived at the village just after sunset where we were picked up and taken back to our hotel in Senaru.
We had an amazing few days and masssivly recommend Morrist Adventure and even more our awesome guide Anton and porters(can't remember there names)
They made this trip so much easier, Anton is such a good, friendly and fun guy, very knowledgeable about the area and even helped me carry some of my personal belongings (camera gear and clothing) when I was struggling. He made the trip what it is, from organising, preparing and giving us lots of fun and laughs along the way. I can't imagine doing this trip without him.
The Porters are legends! They carried all of our heavy tents, sleeping bags, and food to each spot making sure they arrived each time before us. When we arrived to each checkpoint they had already prepared really good food (we ate extremely well) and our tents. They did all of this while wearing flipflops and having loads of fun, I honestly don't know how they do it.
Overall this was a epic trip, we had such a great time and have memories we will never forget, look no further than these guys, you will not regret it!

I did a 3D2N Mt. Rinjani Summi with Morrist Adv. Overall, the owner Mr. Morrist, was very responsive to my quaries, warm, friendly n organised a well planned itinerary. The price was reasonable
and not expensive compared to other agents. The accommodation was awesome with magnificent mountain view and had a swimming pool. His guide, Mr. Ram, was a awesome English speaking guide. Very accommodative and provided alternatives to consider after our Summit. During my summit day, many guides refused to bring their clients up due to windy weather conditions. But Mr. Ram, access conditions to be gd enough to attempt the summit and took care of our safety. The cooks & porters were quick to set up our tents and served variety of food on time. I highly recommend Morrist Adv to be your pick for Mt. Rinjani Summit.

I had a wonderful experience hiking Rinjani (3D/2N) with Morrist Adventure. They are very professional and organized everything for me, from airport pick up in Lombok, first night stay at Senaru, providing all my gear (including hiking shoes and poles as my checked didn't arrive with me). The guide and porters were great, the food was delicious and plentiful. We were a small group of 4 people which was perfect. It was a tough hike but the views were more than worth it! Highly recommend Morrist Adventure!

Mount Rinjani is a truly spectacular hike. It’s a difficult hike at times but the views are exceptional and well worth it. Morrist Adventure made the experience amazing. The value and service we received was great and I would recommend to anyone doing Rinjani to go with them.

Anthon was the best guide ever!
3 days / 2 nights.
This trek was extremely difficult. If you want a challenge, I recommend. I am a very fit person but day 2 was a killer. Day 1 was 8 hours. Day 2 We started Trek to Summit at 2:30am a gruelling 3.5hrs of thick volcano sand we reached the top by 6am and came back down by 9am. At 10am we walked another 4 hours down then back up 4 hours in rain.
Make sure you are fully prepared. Trekking poles, trekking shoes & very warm clothes.
Morrist adventures was the best tour guide on that mountain. We met a lot of travellers and we definitely had royalty experience, worth every penny.
They even made us burgers and fries.
Couldn’t of done this without Anthon and the boys.
We are making a Vlog on YouTube. (the active sisters)

Guide was so nice, helping us carry our bags and even helped one of our guys to climb up. Guides' name was Mr. Anthon and Mr. Lang, super friendly and very nice. Makes the adventure fun.

It was an amazing experience with Morrist Adventure's team during this 3 days / 2 nights trek.
Their guide Anthon, is very funny, and full of intention for us. His porters are impressive and cook very well. The equipment (chairs, table, mattress, pillow) were great compare to other companies.
We felt safe with Anthon during the ascension.
Thanks a lot for those unforgettable memories.
