While staying in Senaru we decided to spend one of our days doing the Panorama Walk through Rinjani Women Adventures. We are so glad we did! The girls were so great and funny and we learned so much about the land and traditional culture. Definitely recommend to anyone in Senaru and Rinjani!

We spent 4 nights in Senaru and the Panorama walk was the best part of our trip learning all about the local flora and fauna as well as the Sasak village and people in the area. Really great authentic and personal experience, highly recommended!

This woman guide group is amazing. They are empowering local women in the area while also giving back to the community and local schools to help educate children. We first heard about this group through Rinjani Lodge and decided to book a half-day tour. Our guide was super sweet and nice and had a wealth of knowledge. At first, I thought learning about the local flora and fauna wouldn't be that interesting but it is incredible the abundance of fruit, especially, that grows in Lombok and how the locals use all the parts of the trees/fruit. The traditional village was fascinating along with walking through various rice/corn/bean etc. fields, visiting two amazing waterfalls and finishing up with lunch at a local Warung. I would highly recommend supporting this group, not only because it is a great cause, but also because the tour is wonderful to experience and very informative.

On our Lombok trip we spent four nights in Senaru. During our trip preparation we came across the organization "Senaru Women Adventure". The organization pursues the following intentions: to train women as leaders in tourism, to promote independence, equality between men and women and to earn money to support the family. In addition, the organisation supports the local village community. We booked a day trip "Senaru Panorama Walk". The organisation sent us Karni. She says: my name is Karni such as car and knee. They led us through the traditional Sasak village and told us about the traditional life and culture of the Sasaks. Karni had an excellent knowledge about the traditional life and culture of the Sasaks. On our way through the "village garden" (jungle) she shone with her knowledge about flora and fauna. We got to know each other: kapok, duria, cocoa, avocado, mango, cashew, betel nut and walnut. We tasted berries and fruits and got to know toys for children from nature (e.g. soap bubbles from a necked blade of leaves). It was very interesting. Passing rice fields with a wonderful view on the surroundings (600 ASL). We spent the lunch break on a shady place. A motorcyclist brought us a traditional lunch. The way then led us through the jungle to the waterfall Sindang Gile. Carni showed us the damage caused by the earthquake in 2018. By car we drove to Bayan to visit the oldest mosque, the Majid Kuno Bayan Beleq. Afterwards we visited a weaving mill where young girls learn to weave the traditional patterns of the Sasaks. An eventful day ended after eight hours. Karni, you are a wonderful woman guide. Your knowledge, your friendliness and courtesy impressed us very much. The next day we spent in Senaru Sasak village again roasting our own coffee. Together with June, another woman guide from Rinjani Women Advenure we made a fire, roasted the coffee, ground and cooked it. With June's parents, who live in Sasak village, we drank the coffee. We bought two more products made in the village; palm sugar and honey. This half day in the village gave us more impressions of the life of the villagers. Mount Rinjani is an experience, but the Senaru Panorama Walk is also an experience. The guidance tour by the women's guides of Rinjani Women Adventure is a unique event to experience and enjoy. Karni and June: keep up your good work.

I did a trekking with one of the womens of the organization and also stayed at Katni's house. Katni is an amazing entrepreneur, she is changing the reallity of the women in the muslim communty of Senaru, by giving them a possibility to work and to decide to future that they want to have. She has a lot of ideas, energy and power. If you have the chance to go to Lombok and meet her is going to be an amazing and so inspiring experience! Support this project!
