We visit Rinjani Lodge in October and asked if we can visit several point of interest in the area but with strict guidelines of COVID19 tour guide.

The Rinjani Women Adventure was highly recommended and it exceed our expectations.

The tour guide were Ms. Junita and Ms. Tiara. They were professional and asking us which point of interest we would lime to see.

The 2 waterfall is a must, a local area sightseeing and cultural visit. Ended with lunch featuring local food.

The group consist of my wife, my teenage daughter and myself.

Both guide knows the area like the back of their hand and Ms. Junita shows us along the way, the local plants and flower for us to learn (health benefit, as spice, etc). We are so impress with the additional knowledge, that we reach the first waterfall (Sindeng Gila) in no time at all.

Next waterfall (Tiu Kelep) was more exciting because it is bigger and delighted our daughter. We spend some time playing around and dip ourself in the water.

After that we went to the Coffee platation, local Village and end the tour with a great local lunch (Fried Chicken, local vegetable that we saw along the way, Banana, rice).

Before we know it 4+ hours has passed by and the guide still asking us if we want to see something else.

All and all it was worth every penny (including lunch) and we learn that Rinjani Women Adventure was created to provide women with additional carrer and to improve themselves to support their family.

We are very impressed with this organization, we even meet the founder Ms. Katni at the restaurant, and we are fully support and endorse them because they have change the lives of these people for the better.

Also, do not underestimate them because of their gender, they are very strong, knowledgable and very easy to work with.

Highly recommended

We (me, my wife and our 12 years old daughter) did the Rinjani Panoramic Tour on a fine day in the middle of August. Our guide was Gina Anjani, and she did really a great job: endlessly friendly and smiling, competent in all aspects of our hike (fauna and flora, activities of the farmers, native village life...), with a good command of English, even carried our backpack at the end of the tour, when we were very tired (it is definitely not just a pleasant afternoon walk, but quite a strenuous and infinitely gorgeous hike with many steep ups and downs). And we did not return at 2 p.m. o`clock, but at least more than one hour later - no problem for our generous guide. Consequently the tour was definitely one of the highlights of our three weeks journey across Lombok and Flores - thanks, for so many reasons, to Gina!

Knowledgeable and witty women who taught us so much on the Panorama walk, which was beautiful. We have decided to aim for the Rinjani trek next year and this is due to the fact we would love to spend more time with these ladies who went way beyond expectations. It was my Daughter’s birthday and they surprised her with a cake at our lunch stop, so lovely of them. A most memorable and enjoyable day.

Gina and Siska were our tour guides on the Panorama Tour. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience learning about their village, customs, surrounding agriculture, and seeing the beautiful waterfalls!

Seeing women in previously male dominated positions was also very inspiring and hearing their own stories of the support they have around them to do so.

There are a lot of guided tour options there and supporting this group was such a rewarding choice! I would highly recommend them

Gina and Siska took us on the panoramic tour and did such an amazing job. They shared information about their community, culture, traditions and environment that I didn’t experience on any other tour. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to truly immerse themselves into the Indonesian culture.

This company is not only a great cause about empowering women in Indonesia but the quality of the guides and porters and equipment was excellent. I did the 3 day 2 night Mount Rinjani trek. They looked after all my needs and kept me safe and spoke great English. I highly recommend this company, they are 5 star.

Gina and Siska took my family on the panoramic tour and every aspect of our trip was absolutely amazing. The views alone are gorgeous, but our guides provided so much extra knowledge about the traditions, culture, and lifestyle as well and the surrounding environment that we didn’t get to experience anywhere else. The community was also so welcoming during our visit, I would highly recommend any tour with these ladies, it has been a highlight of our trip.

What can I say about this panoramic tour with Gina: exceptional! We recommend it ×1000. This woman is a mine of information about the culture, fauna and flora. We spent more than 5 hours walking at our own pace in Senaru and up to the two waterfalls Tui Kelep and Sendang Gila with Gina who was very helpful. The meal is included in the service. To come back to our guide: Gina, thank you a thousand times for all that you taught us, we really enjoyed your company! Finally, indeed the waterfalls are accessible by our own means but it is so much more interesting to be accompanied by a guide who explains the beliefs and the culture (opinion from a person who normally does not like guided tours)!

We went on the panorama walk with Sari and Janti and we had an amazing time. First they took us around the traditional village in Senaru and gave us lots of information on how the people live there. Then we went through the rice and corn fields. Along the way they told us about all the local flora and how they use almost every part of each plant for a range of uses (food, medicine, and even a plant that children use to blow bubbles with). After we walked to the waterfalls and even though it was pouring with rain, we had an amazing time with these two awesome ladies.

There was so much to see on the panoramic tour. Gina and Siska were excellent guides and went into detail about not only the culture of their village, but facts about the forest and surrounding environments as well. Its so empowering to see women growing even in small communities and still doing an excellent job. I would highly recommend them.
