We booked the 2 day 1 night Rinjani Crater Rim Trek via bookatrekking.com and are very content regarding their good advices and the whole booking process. Soon after booking, we were contacted by Putu from Rinjani Trekking Center and from thereon everything else continued as smoothly as you can imagine: first meeting and briefing in Senaru the day before our trek (thanks Kus-Kus 😉), the whole organisation, service with abundant food and beverages (I still remember the great taste of the fried bananas with chocolate sauce upon our arrival at the camp site!), all very delicious, and last but not least, the excellent service provided by our guide Adit and our porters Riasih and Rumedan. Thanks again, guys. It was an unforgettable, great experience for us.

Amazing team!!
It was such a pleasure to hike with our team, they were so helpful and nice all the time!
The food they made was really really good (better than some restaurant), our tent was spacious, our mattresses really comfy, we had water and snacks all the time
I really recommend it !

At last! After an earthquake, a volcanic eruption, and 2 years of pandemic, we came back to Lombok to hike Mount Rinjani and chose Rinjani Trekking Center.
The whole experience is a one-of-a-kind, wonderful one.
We loved our 3 day trek with Ali, the kindest of guides, and the 2 porters / cooks who prepared us lovely meals (omg their curry! Their nasi goreng! Their banana pancakes!)
Ali is a pro with a huge smile and a genuine love for nature. He picks up trash, commits to safeguarding this wonderful environment, takes care of the team and adapts to your need.
It was a pleasure to chat and interact with him. He is really gentle and sweet.
Please note that you have to be in excellent physical condition and wear proper gear and attire. Walking poles are highly recommended. Our shoes did not survive the trek 😂
We were glad we took the 3 day trek. We did it for our tenth anniversary and this will be one to remember for the best possible reasons! The view is spectacular and dramatic, the hike is challenging and well worth the show.

The team was always quick to respond before booking: very responsive.
Booking was easy on the site.
The morning pick-up was very punctual. The driver was very professional.
Possibility of leaving a bag and taking it on the way back.
The trek team was very friendly, competent and always attentive to the smooth running of the adventure. The team goes out of their way to make sure you have a good time even though it's a difficult trek for them too. They always put your comfort first when they deserve it as much.
The food during the trek was cooked, in considerable quantity and of excellent quality (sometimes too much). I have never had a trekking experience with so much comfort...pancake for lunch, fresh fruit, cooked curry...foam mattress and comfortable cushion.. seat and table.
Me who used to trek light, it was quite strange (almost surreal)
Nothing was missing. Safety was ensured by our very professional guide (who has worked for the same company for 10 years, it's a good sign)
It was sometimes a little cold at night.
The 3d/2n experience at Rinjani was a success thanks to the Rinjani trekking center team. Thank you so much.
I would choose the same team if I had to do it again.

After searching among hundreds of providers we decided on the Rinjani Trekking Center and it was a great success.
We did the route for 3 days and 2 nights. It is a fairly hard route but if you are in shape it is worth it. The second day after arriving at the lake we were very tired and Bangkok recommended that we take a different path that was not so difficult and was also very beautiful, the return through the town of Torean.
Our Bangkok guide was very professional, he knows all the roads and helped us through the most difficult sections.
The porters Awal and Sudar were always in a good mood, they cooked better than in many of the restaurants we have eaten in in Bali and they were in charge of setting up everything in the camp.
Along the way we were able to compare our guide, porters and food with other providers and ours were always the best.
So if your budget fits, don't hesitate to hire them!

I highly recomand this agency for the trek. Easy booking with whatsapp and their website. Pick up and drop of directly at my hotel in Lombok. I did 2D/1N with just two other people. Our guide Sudir was really friendly and adapt the walk to our trekking capacity. Good food, correct camping material. We were also assisted by 2 smilling guys who hold the material, what they do is just unbelivable (only wearing flip flops !).
This trek is quite demanding, espacially in case of bad weather, so go with serious people like them.

Great experience with a nice group and nice staff from the Rinjani Trekking Center! Highly recommand this! The Trek until the craterrim was tough but could be doable for everybody with a normal Fitness level, in my opinion. Food was amazing and we had time to make enough breaks on the way up and down as well. So the guide respects how we felt and was very flexible in doing breaks how we wanted to. The porters did a really good Job as well, important to be mentioned because the hike itself was rough and steep and they manage it to carry all the camping Equipment to the camp, this might be so hard. Much respect to these men.

We booked directly via the site 1 month before Ascension.
Communication by WhatsApp is appreciated in order to prepare and organize the pick-up according to the chosen hotel.
The team was very good. Very friendly and caring guide and porters.
The meals were plentiful and the mattress/sleeping bag was excellent for the few hours of sleep before the final ascent.
We highly recommend this agency!

We did the 3D/2N trek with guide Anton. Everything was top notch from start to finish.
Anton adapts to your pace, he speaks English very well and always has a little word to make you laugh. The meals were very good in quality and quantity. You don't miss anything thanks to the porters.

It was a fantastic journey to Rinjani volcano for trekking. Thanks to our guide Karno who gave us great encouragement and help along the way. Both Karno and his company did their very best to make last minute change on our 3d2n travel plan according to our request. Everything was just perfect.
