Besides the rude welcome we received while entering the store, we did enjoy shopping. We did not know that you were not allowed to bring in a purse. They have lockers for you to put your bag in or you must leave them in your car. I understand the reasoning , however instead of a " Hello, is this your first time shopping with us" kind of greeting, my best friend and I got " ma'am you can't carry your purse with you to shop and a rude look". Being a area manager in Retail for over 15 years, I no longer wanted to give them my money , however we were there to find a gift for a good friend. I turned her rudeness into kindness after I corrected the way she greeted me and she quickly apologized. So NOTE TO SELF: bring a wristlet to shop in here if you carry large , expensive designer bags like we do ! I did find some wonderful pieces in here and will come back eventually but I will probably shop Adjectives first.

I read the reviews on TripAdvisor plus other Florida websites and stopped at this store with high expectations. The shop was very large (90 vendors?), neatly organized and the people at the counter were very friendly.

The antiques displayed were largely of the smaller variety, and not what we were looking for...we bought nothing, but we did have fun browsing. And, if I was in Winter Par to shop and/or for lunch, I would probably stop to browse this store again.

I have been frequenting this antiques mall for years, and they are well worth visiting. Many Orlando antiques stores are closed on Sundays, but Orange Tree is open, and it is plenty large enough to take up a few hours of your time on a Sunday afternoon. The types and conditions of the antiques are varied, as are the prices, but I have noticed that unlike some other antique malls in the area, much of the merchandise does move and the items do change often. There's a lot packed in here, so if you don't like clutter, this won't be for you, however, if you like to take the time to sort through things, you will certainly enjoy letting your eyes wander through the dense display of merchandise. There is a large vinyl LP selection on the left side of the mall in the far back, while larger furniture items tend to be on display on the right side. This mall is very close to the trendy Winter Park area, so it would be easy to combine a trip to Orange Tree with a stroll around the downtown.

Tons of junk that are not antiques. Unfortunately most Antique stores are like this. The "antiques" are what you might find in a junk store selling second hand stuff. Mostly it is small collectibles and if you find anything good the prices are very high..

My husband, in laws, a cousin visiting from Germany and I went in today to shop. A female employee demanded I lock up my wallet in a locker. When I refused she told me to sit by the check out desk. My response to her was "you apparently don't want me to spend my money here." She responded "no". I have shopped here for several years & never locked my wallet up. My husband & I visit regularly and have never had an issue before today. My husband became very upset with the way she spoke to me and all 5 of us left. My husband had planned to purchase a German stein for $150. So they lost out on a guaranteed sale plus I always spend about $100 myself each time I'm in the store. Needless to say we won't be back. I can go to WalMart for rude people. Plenty of other great antique stores in the area. As I type we are on our way to The Coop in Oviedo. One of the best & always friendly!!

Business
It had been about 12 years since I visited the Winter park area of Orlando. I wondered if the place that I went to and had so much fun at, in the past was still at the same location and still in business. It was. It change a little. It expanded. But, it was still there and better than ever. I arrived a few minutes before the 10 a.m. opening time and was welcomed in Even though I did not partake, they offered coffee and biscuits to all. The mall has numerous booths with very interesting items from all eras. If your interested in real Antiques then you wont be disappointed. If your interest lies in vintage items from the fifties or sixties then you will be a happy camper. I ended up making more than 25 purchases. I could not help myself.

The staff was very helpful and attentive. But, not overly attentive. The let you shop but, they help you when you need help.

They play good music. The place if full of good merchandise, well organized but not cluttered. You can walk without being worried about knocking things over.

In short. I had a good time, found great finds and will go back the next time that I'm in the area. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

There is so many different kinds of booth that one would be hard pressed not to find something of interest to them. I would have to say this is one of the best antique malls in Orlando. It would be worth the trip if you are staying at Disney area to come for a visit.

What a fun find! We took a break from Disney for a day and found this antique mall. It is a large mall with many booths and dealers which made for fun finds! It was close to Christmas so there was a lot of Disney, some vintage and really unique. With so many booths, there was a large selection of all kinds of collectibles, glassware, furniture, etc. It was very relaxed and the people who worked there were very nice and helpful to us "out of towners". We found some Murano glass there, which we collect. The prices were pretty much in keeping with everywhere else, and there were some sales too. Would definitely pay them another visit when we go back to Orlando. Give this place a try if you like to browse antiques!

So I read the reviews about the rude staff and I can now say I have experienced it first hand!! There is one staff member in particular that honestly made me leave the store with no purchase due to her HORRIBLE attitude.

We visited this store on Saturday September 14th, 2019. This was our first and last time we will ever enter this establishment ever again. We experienced a very rude female manager. We found 1 booth that had a 25% off SALE sign in it. Decided to purchase several items. When taking the items to the front counter, we stated that there was a sale sign in the booth. We were told that the items were not on sale. The sale had been the week before and they had not removed the sign. We could not believe that they would not honor the sale price. They were very firm about it and would not budge. We already had a small pile of items that we were going to purchase. We had been in the store for over and hour and were planning on buying more. We had only seen about 1/3 of the store. Not once did anyone come around and ask if there was something they could take up front for us. We had already made several trips to the front counter with items we planned to purchase. Every time we apprached the front counter there were 3 or 4 employees standing around talking. They were VERY UNHELPFUL ! On our last trip to the front with our supposeded 25% off items, is when they told us they would not honor the sale sign. At that point we told them that we would purchase what we had picked out and that they were missing out on a much bigger sale, because we are serious collectors and would have bought much more, but since this was there way of handling the SALE situation, we decided we would not give them any more of our money. It did'nt seem to bother them that they had upset us to the point that we were leaving the store without finishing shopping the entire store. We just feel that the SALE sign should have been honored. If you go into any other retail store, they at least honor the sale price then take down the sign. NOT so in this store. I will not be going back here and I warn others not to step foot in this store. If you are a dealer here I would think twice about leaving my merchandise in the hands of people like these people. JUST A REAL BAD EXPERIENCE !
