Rollins College is a beautiful Campus. Set in Winter Park Florida, in my estimation, the Classiest Part of Florida, and a hidden secret, there’s much to offer and Rollins is the Anchor with its Beautiful Alfond Inn, having grown up in Dublin Ireland, Winter Park...More

Rollins College is one of the delights of Winter Park, which has many delights. The campus is lovely - a great place to stroll and watch the next generation of graduates as they develop. There also is a good small art museum that is well...More

We drove through here. It is a beautiful, natural looking campus with ivy covered buildings, plenty of outdoor areas for sitting, games, or hanging out. We didn’t go inside any of the buildings or even get out of the car to investigate the campus.

I romantic campus to visit and take photos. Roses are everywhere as are picturesque arches to pose under.

This is a centerpiece of the Winter Park visit. Cornell Gallery (free art museum) is small enough to be seen in 1 hour. The setting on the lake is lovely and walking north through the main campus and chapel area, to view the gardens and...More

We drove through Rollins to visit their art museum- which is superb- and were so impressed with the architecture and layout of the campus. Students were polite and friendly and the roads are well marked. Hope we can go back there to see an event...More

What a pleasure and pleasant surprise we found a full service place to eat for a fraction of the cost to dine off campus! After our wonderful 1-hour scenic boat tour, we decided to head towards campus for a walking tour of Rollins. The tour...More

This college has some VERY GOOD displays!!! This college is for the higher income persons. They are very supportive of our community. It's worth a walk into through buildings.

There is a parking inside the college, attached to the secretary. It is a visitors parking. You can also drive around and find some spots where you can stay, for a while at least.

Amusing stuff to do around Winter Park a couple days (What... (2 Replies)
What would you plan to do for a couple of low-key days hanging out in Winter Park, FL in January? (Besides lunch and walking Park Ave. - and *no* big adventures to Disney.) Are there any canoe or other boat rentals around Rollins College? Also, is the golf course there uberprivate or can newbies from elsewhere try putting around?

Angeleno I would take the Winter Park boat tour, which is right off of Park Ave. Be sure to visit Leu Gardens and the Morse Museum (with the most amazing Tiffany glass exhibit!). If you really want to act like a local, go check out Casa Feliz and Kraft Azalea Gardens. Rollins College has a beautiful campus and it's fun to explore. There is also Mead gardens. You could go to the Mennelo Folk Art Museum and the Orlando Science Center (right next to each other)---then go have lunch at the White...More
