This was suggested by my cousin who lives in Florida and is not normally frequented by tourists. I found the photos of the inhabitants of the area very interesting.

Interesting display depicting stories from the lives of local African-American identities from 1880s through to present. Very welcoming and informative curator/manager Syria. Nearby Shady Park great for a picnic, or check out one of several upmarket eateries on New England Avenue.

Winter Park is contiguous to Orlando on the north. I had a 20 minute commute to downtown Orlando from Winter Park using city streets.
