Saw this from the boat ride (which is excellent), and decided to drive over to see it. Very glad we did as we just took a casual 20 minute walk through the park. Very comfortable because of all the lovely trees - even in 95 degree heat.

My husband and I are not the "outdoorsy" types, but this was a special occasion as we wanted to take anniversary pictures that represented and cemented our status as "Floridians." What better way to do that than to take pictures under cypress trees. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking! Will visit again soon.

this little gem is away from main roads and not known to many but it is a delightful place to sit and watch the lake under a canopy of tall cypress filled with nesting bird life. Truly a 'secret garden' if you want to refresh your soul

...as long as nobody on a boat with a beatbox drives by. Very relaxing atmosphere and soothing with people around who also move in a relaxed non hectic way

Wow, amazing views. Beautiful trees (but wear good walking shoes, the tree knees will stub some toes). Incredible birds everywhere. A cacophony of bird calls (might be wise to wear a hat too...just in case). Loved it.

You are in awe of the trees and view as soon as you pull into the parking lot (which is small, so don't expect to have any big parties here). It is mainly visited by couples, residents, and photographers for photoshoots. But beware of the birds! I was relaxing in my hammock under some trees and they decided to release... More

Pleasant park to view the lake, azaleas and the birds. Added advantage of free parking - peaceful area to enjoy the beautiful views around the lake.

Just a short drive from all the hustle and bustle of the shops on Park Ave is this lovely gem. We visit every spring when we drive up to Winter Park. Never crowded (even during the art show) and pleasantly shaded so it's comfortable even on the warmest days. April and May are the best times to visit so you... More
