I go there all the time for paddle boarding and its never that busy. Just be mindful of the tour boats and they will do the same.

This scenic boat trip was recommended by a family member and was a lovely and very popular excursion during our day out in charming Winter Park. We sailed the three lakes in the town and had an amusing and informative narration by our 'boatman'. The...More

Get your boat, kayak or pontoon boat out and enjoy the lake! The views are splendid as most of the coastline is stacked with well manicured mansions. If you don't have your own vehicle, make sure to take the boat tour which goes out several...More

The Palm Beach of Central Florida, Lake Virginia is almost completely surrounded by multi-million dollars homes. The Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour is the best way for a visitor to experience this beautiful setting. You can also rent standup paddleboards at Dinky Dock.

We used to live on Lake Virginia and miss is terribly. The Winter Park Boat cruise swings by this lake along with several others. You need to walk around Rollins College campus and enjoy the paved walkway along the lake. Truly beautiful.

Probably the best tasting of the Winter Park chain of lakes....crisp and clean. I also recommend this body for bathing, as it is the most refreshing and enlivening aquatic environment.

This is a large lake surrounded by mostly mansions and Rollins College. It has one small public boat launch, so you can bring your boat or rent a kayak. A guided lake and canal tour is available nearby, and worth doing. Just biking around this...More

The dock is at 312 E. Morse Blvd., and the contact is 407-644-4056, or google for the website. Reservations might be a good idea in the busy season. The trip takes about an hour. Remember, it is too hot in Florida right... More
