We had a very enjoyable time at winter haven watersports. First entire family of 10 did the pontoon ride and then teenagers learned how to waterski with Tim. We had a wonderful afternoon, the boats were great and Tim was a fabulous instructor and made sure everyone learned and got up. We would highly recommend this place for lots of different fun water activities.

We thought we "settled" for cruising the lakes instead of the bay but we were wrong! Our time spent on the chain of lakes was better than any experience we would have had on the bay! Logan was an excellent captain, DJ, and all around entertainer. The pontoon boat comfortably held our family of 6 with room for more. Logan was a wealth of knowledge and showed us many of the lakes in our 4 hour tour. At one point he even stopped the boat so our youngest daughter could swim. When she was unsure of getting in the water, he jumped in with her! He even recommended an excellent restaurant for lunch which we stopped at after our tour. We'll definitely be back again!

Staff is super friendly and patient. We had teens and little kids and they all absolutely loved it. This place is good for a beginner or for the experienced. 5 stars to everyone especially to Kelly who took us out and set us up.

Took grandson here to sky board. After some instruction and safety briefing he was airborne in a matter of minutes. The instructor was outstanding. If you want to experience something a little different that is fun, head here. Great place with great people!

Best Family day EVER!! Fun time renting pontoon to spend afternoon cruising the lakes. We have 2 grown sons and we dont get to be spontaneous and spend lots of time together. Last minute booked a pontoon for a couple hours. Everyone at Winterhaven water sports was just great. Thank you for making our family day the most relaxing and fun day we could have together.

Family of four (two parents over 55 and two teen boys) visited Winter Haven Watersports. After a lengthy, pretty awful wait to get a boat that wasn't broken, and after waiting out a storm in the afternoon, EVERYTHING was awesome. These guys made sure that everything was just right for us - from the training to the perfect boat(s).
We waterskied. We wakeboarded. We rented a pontoon. We drove a CraigCat. We spent all day on the water, morning till night. I can't tell you which was the best choice because we absolutely loved ALL of it. None of us can agree on what was the most fun, because we had a fantastic time. AND we were all able to waterski in spite of (my) history of failing. Thanks to Christopher, my sons - novices when we arrived - are now experts.
Two things: 1. They did NOT give us the boat that wasn't 100% clean, and we really really appreciated that. 2. The CraigCat is way more fun than it looks, and my boys still haven't stopped talking about it.
We did a LOT on our vacation - and this was by far our very best day. If we could do our vacation over, we'd ignore the Bay and the beaches and go straight to Winter Haven, so we could ride the Chain of Lakes every day. LOVE these guys and their boats!

We really enjoyed a full day of touring the chain of lakes. Lots of widelife was seen including a bald eagle couple. The pontoon boat was comfortable and well maintained. We plan to do this again soon.

Easy online booking. Great location. Friendly welcome with our dog and a great overview of our pontoon rental. We rented for 4 hours which was enough to travel the whole chain, though we wished we did 8 hours (all day) as it would have allowed us to stop at a restaurant or bar on the chain.
The 0800-1200 hours were great. It gets warm out there, but it felt like we owned the lakes ourselves. Navigating the canals was easy (the first lock system was interesting).
Being a NY transplant, even after several years I’m never sure about alligators. All in all we saw ONE baby one (in picture).
I didn’t see anybody swimming,though there were families tubing and of course plenty of fisherman.
The only thing I wish we had was a powered awning on the boat. The manual one did the job, though you have to lower it every time you cross into another lake and it became tedious.

Bring your own seat or sit on the grass, this once a month show is good for young and old. Generation of water sports enthusiasts show their talent and skills in water skiing and formation. For free. 😊👍🏼

We booked Flyboarding for our three children for their surprise Christmas present. We drove from Clearwater and didn't let on about what they were going to be doing. We were met by Ben, Swampy and his two beautiful dogs who kept the secret going until they sat them down to watch a video of what they were going to be doing. All three children aged between 12 and 20 managed to "fly". The two eldest even managed diving. Each of them had 30 minutes on, above or in the water and loved every minute of it. Ben was a great instructor and the Flyboard Centre was very welcoming. Would definitely recommend this experience! Thanks guys!

Hi Peter we offer pontoon rentals with or without a captain, and ski boats with a captain. All of our captains have years of experience, and most are championship skiers.

We do accept walk-ins, however, when you show up we cannot guarantee that the time slot will be available or the equipment setup and ready to go, meaning you might have to wait a little bit. Booking in advance is the safest way to make sure you can fly with us at the time you want.

There is no age restriction on a flyboarding lesson, a 14 year old can most definitely learn how to fly! The cost is $99 for your first flight. This includes all necessary equipment, land training and safety briefing, as well as 20 minutes of flight time.
