Took our 3 young grandkids. It's taken me 10 months to write this review and the kid's are still talking about it. We did a lot on this trip and stayed at some very nice places but nothing compared. Worth every penny.

This is a good alternative to the mega-parks in Orlando, geared toward the 12 and under set. We arrived just as they opened and enjoyed dashing around to ride anything we wanted with no lines. After a few hours there were lines, so best get...More

The question is, "How was Legoland?" If you ask my 10 year old son, it was AMAZING! He loved all the rides, even the cheesy little kid ones. He thought the displays, of which there were many, were awesome. He posed for pictures by everything...More

My grandson loves legos and we took him to the Florida resort this December 2019. The resort is about 1 hour from Orlando and from an adult point of view it is another big amusement park that looks like it was built with legos. It...More

We love Legoland. It is a much more affordable option do other bigger parks and wait time for rides is much less. If you get there as soon as the gate opens, you can ride any ride with no wait. By noon the park fills...More

The problem with the shuttle is that it leaves Orlando at a set time, and leaves Legoland after closing. So if you need to exit early... you're stuck. And you don't want to Uber down there. Winterhaven isn't exactly a... More

What time to leave Anaheim to get to Sea World for opening (6 Replies)
We will be leaving Anaheim on Friday 18th September to go to Sea World and was wondering what time should we leave. We need to go to Legoland Resort to drop our bags off as we don't want to leave them in the car at Sea World. We would like to get to Sea World at opening which is 10am. Thank you, Kim.

Your traveling on a weekday during busy traffic. I would suggest leaving at 7dam to give you time to drop your bags ect. It likely to take longer to get anywhere that day. And you may want to try to time things so you are leaving Legoland area at around 9am so you can miss the busier traffic there.

LAX to Legoland Resort (5 Replies)
Hi there, What's the best (and cheapest) way to get from LAX to Legoland Resort? Is there a direct shuttle or bus service? We are two adults and two children. Any advice greatfully received. Cheers Johnny

Hi, Johnny Welcome to the Forum. First, please take a moment to edit your profile and include your city or country of residence. This will help us to communicate better. The short answer to your question is that there is no best and cheapest way and there is no bus or shuttle. Legoland is in Carlsbad California in San Diego County -- 2 counties south of the county in which LAX is located. If you are flying into L.A. from another city in the U.S., consider landing at SAN (Charles...More

Hi Ana ! Re: Legoland - how old are your children? It's generally thought to be for children under 10 unless they are real Lego nuts. While Universal Studios is generally said to be geared to older kids and adults. So maybe you can save money on 1 depending on your kids' age. << I'm planning one week in California with one day in Universal Studios, one day in Disney & 2 days in legoland & the last 3 days exploring the state a little..>> I think most people will...More
