College Baseball

Nice fields to watch some baseball in warm weather, nice and close to where we stayed. Played on most of all the fields they have there. Pool was closed.

This nice park is well-maintained and very clean. It has a variety of usages, including a pool, athletic fields, and a community building. It is quite popular with those in the area.

We enjoy watching the college teams that come into town to compete at this park. Large groups of handsome young athletes can be seen patronizing the restaurants and enjoying the wonderful Florida weather. The stadium is comfortable. Tickets are very affordable. Sometimes there is planned family fun going on the sidelines.

Girls day out. We went and had a picnic at the very, very dirty pic ic tables (thank God I had bottled water and disposal wipes ). Trash vans were overflowing. But all in all it was a nice serene picnic and walk along the shores (at least as close as we could get). Really nice spots for pictures. Would visit... More

I Recently attended a college baseball game in the stadium at Chain of Lakes Park. The field seemed to be well manicured, but the rest of the stadium suffers from neglect. I attended a day game, but couldn't help noticing the huge Opsrey nests built amongst the lamps in the light towers. The seats in the grandstand were filthy with... More

This boat ride is relaxing and fun for the whole family. Go before the weather gets too hot as there is no shade provided on the boat. Takes about 45 minutes to tour at least two lakes with beautiful homes along the way.

We were too busy talking with family to really experience the park fully, but we enjoyed the views, and cleanliness of the lake.

Lower field rest rooms were no much more than outhouses. Rest room was a "onesy" with both a toilet and a urinal - which was stopped up...not very nice :-(

I love this place. Went here in 2005 and 2007. Sad that the Indians will be leaving for AZ in 2009. Prolly wont be able to make it back here and that makes me sad. Its an old park and they do it right here. You can get Bob Feller's autograph. Love to sit on the lawn in the outfield.... More
