Sunset cruise

The sunset cruise was really fun and comfortable. Our captain was friendly and knowledgeable and the trip was reasonably priced and lasted for an hour. The captain made sure you knew some history and about the animals you saw. The pontoon boat was clean and comfortable.We had dinner after seeing a beautiful sunset and We took some great pictures.The harbor side restaurant had great seafood priced 18 to about 35 dollers

New Years Day Sunset Cruise

My family had a wonderful time last night on The Living Water Cruise !!
We took my family from Ft Lauderdale on the sunset cruise that departs Harborside on lake Shipp and continued on the chain for 7 other lakes..We saw lots of Ospreys,Herons and Ibis all in the trees along the banks ..Beautiful sunset on lake LuLu kept my family talking about this cruise the next day ..This was a huge compliment coming from a captain on a yacht who sees beautiful shores all the time but saw a whole different level on our chains in Winter Haven 😁

Sunset Cruise

Excellent one hour tour of some of the lakes in the area. Got to see many local attractions, plenty of wildlife, and lots of local residdnts al9ng the shores. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the area and was informative throughout the cruise. We really lucked out with the weather on a late August evening to view a beautiful sunset from the water. Highly recommend The Living Water Boat Cruises! Friendly staff and priced affordably.

Amazing tour- Highly recommended!!! Tour guide made this cruise the best!!!

My husband, 14 year old daughter and I went on a New Year’s Day cruise with another very nice family and this wonderful tour was led by the fabulous Captain Rue. From the moment that I called and spoke to Rue’s wife who went way above and beyond for our family since she was able to fit in an extra cruise just for us because they were already booked already for the day. We live in Wisconsin but were down visiting my dad for a quick vacation and after going to 3 Disney Parks on New Years Eve this relaxing day was well needed. We saw 4 alligators and many other beautiful wildlife birds and animals, took a tour of the lakes and got an outstanding tour from Rue who was so polite, fun and informative. I would highly recommend this tour it was definitely the highlight of our trip. We then went to the Harborside restaurant and had some wonderful cocktails and appetizers outside on the deck overlooking the water. I would give this tour the highest rating possible and I would highly recommend this tour to vacationers and to residents of Florida. Thanks again for the wonderful day it was an unforgettable experience and the best way to start of 2020.

Wonderful and something different to do with your family in Florida other than a theme park or beach.

The sunset is spectacular. The fauna in it's natural habitat was a beautiful experience. Randy the boat captain and guide was very informative about the history associated with the Chain Lakes as well as the flora and fauna. He made the cruise a wonderful experience. Make sure you take your jacket during December if taking the sunset cruise. After the cruise we had dinner at Harborside restaurant which is off the docking station. The food was well prepared and delicious. Their seafood is very good especially the fish of the day. For a family of four with an appetizer and a drink the price was $130. Not bad considering we all had seafood including fresh fish.

Take this tour - worth it!

Had lunch first at Harborside restaurant - great fish & chips. Boarded pontoon at restaurant dock; Randy, our captain, was very cautious that everyone boarded safely - even an elderly woman who had difficulty walking. Pontoons hold about 10 people so everyone has a good view.
We took the 1 hour nature tour, traveling through several lakes. Blankets and iced bottled water were available. Warm, humid day so ice water was welcome.. Rendy pointed out many species of birds, alligators, and trees as well as homes/mansions of local residents. Was an interesting and enjoyable tour. Worth every cent.

Relaxing Sunset Experience
May 2021
Four of us enjoyed a delightful 2-hour sunset cruise last night with Captain Randy. We got a lot of information about the lakes, the history of the area and the numerous bird life. Of course we also saw a gator, and baby osprey peeking out of their nest, and turtles too. One favorite part of the trip was stories about the homes around the lake, history of Cypress Gardens, and the geography of the lake region But of course, the sunset was glorious so that had to take first prize. Captain Randy was entertaining , knowledgeable and personable. The boat allowed people in groups to maintain reasonable social distancing, so very safe. I highly recommend this very relaxing and enjoyable trip.

Awesome trip, amazing business!

A friend recommended Living Water Boar Cruises so I booked the 2 hour cruise to watch the Legoland Show while our grandson was visiting us. The day before our booked tour they called and due to the expected high winds they needed to re schedule our trip. Due to having to take our grandson back to Texas due to his spring break ending we were only able to do a one hour trip. We were disappointed to miss the legoland show however I am very happy that this business puts the safety of customers and staff ahead of money! They were concerned about safety and did not want to put anyone at risk. During our trip Randy was the captain of our boat. Randy is awesome! He asked our grandson what he wanted to see and if course AJ wanted to see an alligator while in Florida. Randy did not disappoint! He was able to find an alligator even though it was early morning, over cast and chilly ! Randy gave us so much history of the chain of lakes, showed us lots of cool stuff and answered all of our questions and allowed AJ to drive the boat! Definitely will be repeat customers!

sunset nature cruise and dinner

The Living Waters sunset cruise has become a much requested event for my house guests from all over the world. It is wonderful to leave the driving to the Captain and just to be able to let the world float by observing nature in all Her glory. Lots of alligator spottings on this cruise and the sunset was just divine.Capt Randy timed it just right to get the best light for our family photos. After our excursion we enjoyed the luxury of reservations made for us at Harborside. We walked right in and sat down, others outside had been waiting 45 mins for a table. The food was great and the view of the lake was an awesome bonus. We will be back 2 more times with other guests this month!

Delightful cruise on Winter Haven’s beautiful Chain of Lakes !

This was our third cruise with Captain Rue and we were thoroughly pleased with the arrangements that he made for my fiancée, myself and our guests. For our Commitment Ceremony, the Living Waters Boat Cruise was the perfect choice. Capt. Rue planned for all of our party to meet at the Harborside Restaurant where we departed for the 2 hour southern voyage thru some of the lovely lakes. The variety of trees, ground foliage, water wildlife, birds, beautiful homes and the majestic spanish moss highlighting so many of the trees was mesmerizing !
Near the end of our tour, Capt. Rue positioned the boat for a picturesque view of the sun setting and we celebrated our Commitment Ceremony with the sun descending behind us.
Thank you Captain Rue for our unforgettable cruise and we definitely plan to come back again.
