Let the attendant show you around

The museum is housed in the old depot, so the exhibits and artifacts are a bit cramped in there. Worth a stop if you're in the area.

Opt for the free 30 minute tour. There are at least 3 things kids can participate in during the tour. It goes fast and fun, interesting tidbits! Displays are neat and tidy in the 3 room space. Please drop a buck or two in the donation bucket. I hope this place stays around for a long long time.

Lots of interesting Photos and history about the Railroad and the people who used it. It's a collection of railway related items. On the negative side there is currently very little in the way of interactive displays, which would make it more interesting for younger people.

We visited this museum on a whim on a weekday afternoon. It has lots of old railway items on display & a train table for the kids to play with. Staff was super friendly. The only thing missing was an actual train, which the kids requested.

What a great time we had visiting the Central Florida RailRoad Museum, so much history and so many cool things for the Grandkids to do. I highly recommend that if you have any kids or if just you and your significant other wants something fun to do you should check it out

This place is great for children to learn all about trains and the volunteers love to speak to them about it. They are great with kids and keep them entertained. They had a little area upstairs that the kids can play with toy trains themselves. Is you are in the area check it out.

Had a trip out to this place whilst in Florida. Nice small museum in Winter Garden although there are no loco's just lots of small items and memorabilia. It is small and free,, with donations accepted, and staffed by friendly volunteers

Hard to beat free! The guided tour was very interesting! The kids enjoyed trying out the RR tail cart and the telegraph system. Educational for all ages with great exhibits.

There were lots of older train items and things that you won't see anywhere else. It is entertaining just to hear some of the information and to view some of these items from long ago. We loved it.
