I rented a single kayak to "refresh" my kayaking skills for an upcoming trip--and was delighted with both the help I received from the staff before pushing off the dock AND with the views along the Middle River after I pushed off. Great for beginners and for the experienced. Highly recommended!

My boyfriend and I rented a double kayak for a few hours to kayak on the intercostal waterway. We saw lots of lizards and all in all it was a good adventure. Highly recommend lots of sunscreen, a hat and water! The coconut water at the end was a nice treat.

Took the sunset paddle on the Middle River with my family. There were 7 of us -- 5 adults, 1 teen, and an 11-year-old. James was a terrific guide -- personable and knowledgeable about the flora, fauna, and geography on the river. It's a fun and easy paddle (little current or chop), you get to see a side of South... We are always looking for outdoor activities that might be fun and different and thought kayaking on the Middle River would be worth a try. Atlantic Coast Kayak is located at Wilton Manors, home of the Richardson Historic Estate. Although the building is closed except for private rental, there is a small nature walk around the property as well as... More

First I'd like to thank Phototripper for just coming in as well as the review. We hear now and then, that it costs a lot from the standpoint of a guest to use our services. That said, I'd like to point out that I am very conscious of the importance of keeping this activity affordable for individuals as well as... More

Went on the Eco tour in a group of 13. James was good but really hard to hear with everyone jockeying to get really close. 1st half is a tour and info about history and wildlife while second part is a straight row back. Enjoyed the coconut water upon conclusion .

I'm really sorry you had a hard time hearing. We really do try to project our voices to reach all of our guests. This is why we give the tour from a paddleboard. Please give me a call or email me at Atlanticcoastkayak@gmail.com. More

Well organized, great trip 1.5hrs relaxing, Kenny was our guide and he was very knowledgable about the river, city, ecosystem, plant and marine life we encountered. Overall we had a great time (kids 9-14 and adults) I would definitely recommend this to anyone locally or visiting.

What a great way to spend the afternoon! We took a two hour guided tour on the middle river. It was a relaxing afternoon and the guide was great. Upon our return, we were given coconuts to drink, a great treat on a hot day. Highly recommend this company.

First, I never actually got to use their facilities, and the reason is why I could not is why they get a low rating. A month ago, my friend called to make reservations for a small group of 5 of us to paddleboard. She was told it was too early to make reservations, and to call the week of. She... More

I would first like to say that I took the calls for the reservations. There was no need for them to book a month in advance, as we would have no problem accommodating a group of five people. When they called back to confirm the reservation, I knew that the Stonewall event would be taking place on that day, and... More

We wanted to do something active during our 2 week beach vacation and decided to go for a kayak tour. The staff of Atlantic coast kayak was really friendly and lots of fun. We learned a lot about the trees and animals that grow in the river!
