    Beautiful and interesting
Beautiful and interesting place to visit. Will take you about two hours to explore the grounds. I like that you can picnic within the property. Would make a nice day trip for families. It’s a cool place to explore. The only downside is that they only have one real restroom and it’s at the entrance. Not good if you have younger kids that need to make frequent visits. The only other downside is that this property is not meticulously maintained. In fact, the entrance road will make you wonder if you are entering a long abandoned botanical gardens. The road is rough and uneven. If you own a lowered vehicle, DO NOT drive it here. You won’t make it in! All in all, we had a great time. My recommendation to the staff is to clean and care for the property better. It could be a 5-star attraction!

What a fun place to visit and spend a couple hours. And VERY pet friendly.
What a nice walk about. Flora was stunning. So much to see. As you go “down” into the grotto where the pond is as just breathtaking. Very Asian inspired. I was concerned as we had our 2 puppies with us and the website mentioned uneaten terrain, but (imo) it was not at all. It was just lovely. As we were driving in you see a warning about livestock, and lo and behold…a cow walked across the street. When we parked a heard of cows (8-10?) walked by us. What a great way to spend a couple hours. Well worth the cost (25~ w tax).

    Nice location
Lots of history, it's an old limestone quarry and was purchased and made into a beautiful place planting trees and exotic plants all over the property, with an upper level and lower level walking trails. The rest of the owners property including house( no visit) and several different gardens, a couple of waterfalls. It's a nice little place that's very relaxing and quiet.

    First time!
Lived in FL for 30yrs and NEVER heard of this place?? My mom was in heaven! While it may remind you of Butchart Gardens, this is a MUCH SMALLER scale but lovely, nonetheless. The weather today was perfection. Note: cost was a bit steep

Granted, we were there "off season" so not a lot was blooming and the trees were bare, however there were still tacky Christmas decorations displayed throughout the entire garden in late February. WHY??!! They charge $12 per person to enter. Where is that money going? Doesn't appear to be for any type of upkeep to the garden or the potholed drive to the parking lot. And one of the toilets in the women's bathroom wouldn't flush. Pond was murky with a dead fish floating in it. Waterfalls appear to be man-made vs. natural. Place looks great online but it's really rundown. It doesn't appear anyone associated with the garden cares about anything beyond collecting your money at the entrance. Wish we had read some of the recent reviews before our visit.

What a disappointment this was! They charge $12 to get in and to us it was a waste of money. Doesn't appear to be for any type of upkeep to the garden or the potholed drive to the parking lot. Pond was murky with slim floating in it. Waterfalls appear to be man-made vs. natural. Place looks great online but it's rundown. It took us around an hour to walk the property. I feel like the property needs some TLC. It has potential but isn’t quite there. Many plants and bushes are just sitting in pots waiting to be planted. It doesn't appear anyone associated with the garden cares about anything beyond collecting your money at the entrance. Wish we had looked closer at some of the more recent reviews, because now that we gone and we went back to look at reviews from May and April, it seems that they may have been written by the owner or staff! The pictures on the reviews are stock pictures from their web site and do not reflect the current conditions.

This place is not worth the money of trip!

Cedar Lakes is a natural botanical garden and worth your time. The lake water was beautiful on the day we were there and we did see one swan and one goose. There are lots of walking paths with hand rails and many beautiful flowers, We live about on hour away and went on a day when it was a little cooler and somewhat overcast. I would suggest going in March or April when the flowers are most likely in full bloom, but when ever you go take your time to stop and smell the flowers and check out the giant tortoise. Please keep in mind that since this is privately owned garden and not handicapped accessible,

This was a lovely couple of hours, spent quietly walking along winding trails, in a beautiful setting, feeling at one with nature (corny I know, but true). We arrived on a Wednesday, they were closed for maintenance but allowed us to walk around, Wednesday is their day for general maintenance and cleaning. The trails are lovely, not suitable for wheelchairs or those that have difficulty walking. The trails are on two levels in concentric meandering circles, over bridges, inclines and steps. Koi carp share the pools with terrapins/turtles, while squirrels and birds of every colour watch on from trees above. This place is truly beautiful and if it can entertain a twenty-two year old gamer, it’s a success.

Paid 12$ per person to get in and it should be free. The driveway in is full of potholes that can swallow your car which gives you a clue to just turn around. From the admission booth and throughout the park is just junky old buildings and trashy stuff laying around. The lake in the quarry is full of scum and there are dead potted plants everywhere that I guess are supposed to be the “botanical gardens “. It could be a nice place if someone would clean it up. There were a few things here and there that were ok but not worth the entry fee.

We went with a small group of master gardeners on a Friday. They don't do tours on Fridays so we had a 5 minute history. I would have liked a bit more. We spent about 2 hours wandering along the paths looking at the amazing plants, butterflies, insects and vistas. The place is beautiful. They have some very interesting plants but not many are marked, so we spent time checking on various apps as to the type of plant. All in all it was a wonderful trip and I would recommend a visit. Just know that it is a bit pricey - $12 per adult for an entrance fee.

What a hidden gem! We loved walking around and viewing the gardens. The flowers and other plants were beautiful. I loved the way the owner dug out the quarry in various shapes so that water flowed, fish swam, etc. The employees were so friendly and accommodating. One note - be sure to bring bug spray. The mosquitoes were vicious, lol!

Okay! Not too much really blooming so wait until more is blooming and colorful. Those flowers that were blooming were quite pretty. Waterfalls were nice for what one could find in FL, picturesque, the orchard definitely needed a bit more care as it looked pretty sad, what is pictured on the website is not what we saw. We saw a duller version by far. The ride into the place is quite bumpy as it is not paved. There are picnic tables scattered about some in the shade others not. I personally would not bring younger kids as I think they would be bored. NOT handicap friendly. Dog friendly. Something different to experience. Glad I did it but won’t be back. $12 for adults. Special pricing for military.

We stopped here when we were visiting relatives in Bronson and it was a nice outing for my elementary school aged kids, husband, mother-in-law, and me. It was a cool and cloudy January day, but the grounds still had a few flowers and lots of greenery. The staff person at the front desk was friendly and helpful. My kids were enchanted with the bird and cats at the ticketing area. It took us about an hour to walk around and the heights and all the lovely plants were impressive. It looked as though it could be rented out for events, and it would be a cool place to have a large party. It was a little pricey for an hour or two, but we were on vacation, it was green in the middle of winter, and it gave us something to do that both the youngest and oldest members of our party enjoyed. For me, it was well worth the money.

Nice quiet gardens as we went as soon as opened, Afternoon was busier. Nice waterfalls, bridges, water area, flowers blooming for this time of season. Wear sturdy comfortable non slip shoes as this is built in an area with some uneven paths. Needs some TLC with spring cleanup and planting and workers were there doing that. Peaceful place would be great for volunteer gardeners and floral students to get hands on experience. We enjoyed walking the paths finding different blooming flowers. Watching the swan, birds, turtles and fish, and the cows outside the park. Take a picnic lunch and spend some time.
