What a great place! Little dogs to the left park and big dogs to the right. Bags were provided for picking up poo. A large area with grass and paved paths, benches for pet owners and shady areas. There was a place for dogs to get a drink of water. Very nice.

Okeeheelee Park is a nice little park for biking or walking! It has paved paths and a path with wood chips also. We like to kayak in the little lake too. They rent kayaks and paddle boats there on the weekends. I see people fishing aroud the lake and there are picnic tables and grills all around too. It's a... More

Park within the city and has a short trail to explore. There is an enclosure with deer. Nice place for a walk.

We had so much fun in the canoe we rented! You can even go to a small island they have in the middle of the lake. Beautiful park, lots of wildlife viewing, we saw a few turtles and fish (there are no alligators thankfully) The employees were so kind and accommodating! We originally rented kayaks but found them to be... More

This park has everything! I love that they have both a dog park and allow dogs outside the dog park on a leash. It's hard to find city parks that allow dogs at all. They have so many great amenities such as bike/ kayak rentals, bike paths, disc golf, exercise trail, nature center, tennis courts, smaller pavilions with a table... More

Okeeheelee Park is huge with beautiful with areas to walk or ride bikes. There are picnic areas too. There is an adjacent golf course and a water area where water skiing championships have been held. There is a really nice nature center that also has special events.

We live close by and have never gone until our family came down with their kids and wanted to visit it. What a great park! So much to do and see! From canoeing/kayaking to bike riding, to tennis courts, etc, this place pretty much has it all! And if you don't have your own equipment, you can rent most of... More

There are numerous parks to visit throughout the year. I like this one because it is way west on Forest Hill and off the beaten path. There is lots of room to roam, walk, see nature and picnic.
