The Armory has been a great venue for meetings (Such as my Cornell University Club), art shows, educational programs and art classes. It is a great meeting place for artists young and old and of course, there are great art professors who often exhibit themselves.

This was the ANNEX located in Lake Worth - not the Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach. We had a little trouble getting in - because no one was there at the hours posted. However, we returned and were thrilled the minute we walked in. Wow! A large white open space with plenty of room for the artwork &... More

It has been a while since we took a class there. I would recommend this place to families with kids. This is also a great place for adults to take art classes. The location of the armory art center is questionable because of the lack of security in an area that is getting better but still has some problems. But... More

If you enjoy Morden Art, this is well worth a visit. It's a centre that runs short art courses in painting, pottery, glass and also show cases local and visiting artists. They welcome visitors and have small shop full of unusual pieces, we spent a pleasant couple of hours there. (Not suitable for young children, working kilms & art classes... More

Haven't taken classes there for a few years as I feel the cost is higher than I wish to pay. Nice art shows held there.

I've know about the Arts Center for a long time and finally had the opportunity to attend a lecture on the Art Deco movement here a few months ago. The entire evening was a wonderful experience, the lecture was edifying and after we attended an art show by local high school students. The front of the building which faces a... More

The Armory hosts serious amateur artists and sculptors who display their works in a show at the end of Season. The viewing is free and often you can buy something you fancy.

This wonderful 1939 art decor building houses a great art center that povides classes in the different arts, has free exhibitions during the year and special programs. Lovely grounds with small sculpture garden. A great asset to the community. On Parker Ave., a few hundred yards south of Okeechobee Boulevard.

I am currently taking a pottery class, throwing on the wheel, with Tyra. Enjoying the ease of the pace. I will explore more art education at the Armory. Class sign up does require an annual membership.

I cannot say enough good things about this camp. My daughter had an amazing week. The camp was well organized and had a warm, calm feeling. She was happy and engaged every day. The kids who were there seemed to be there by choice (teen group). They were kind to my daughter and were there to learn. We have done... More
