We visited Mounts Botanical Garden and were very happy. For recommended donation of $5 per person the Garden offers a great opportunity to relax and learn about flora of Southern Florida - from pine and palm trees to cacti. The Garden is not big and can be explored in a couple of hours. Plenty of parking, picnic areas, butterfly garden,... More

The 1st time I visited Mounts, 2 women at the front entrance asked me where the Butterfly Garden was... and I sure didn't know. Nowadays, if you park at the Military Trail entrance, and follow the pathway around the Lake, you will be rewarded for sure! The open-air Butterfly Garden is gorgeous, year-round, with its own winding paths with benches... More

Very pretty garden. Even though it's small, the admission price is reasonable ($5) and it's very nice to stroll around and enjoy the plantings and small lake. A major drawback though is that it's located right next to the airport. Every time I started to relax, another jet would take off or land, blasting us with the noise. Unfortunately, Palm... More

When new to Florida did not know what plants could grow here or how to grow them. Spouse went to Mounts for info & ended up becoming a Florida Master Gardener. Now volunteers there once a week. The garden is 'smallish'~ just a bit over 14 acres but offers lots of different 'areas'... the 'Trial Garden'- affliiated with UF to... More

This is a beautiful garden, great for enjoying the beauty of nature or for photography. Would be great to take young children or a romantic walk for couples. I miss this place.

Just had a couple of hours to spend in this area and debated between new shoes at the outlet mall or relaxing views and nature. Glad I decided for the ladder! Mounts Botanical Garden not only had treats for all senses, but made me realize that a visit to this Botanical Garden was probably a much better use of my... More

The Mounts is a peaceful place to view nature in all its glory. The facility is well run and one can buy plants for very reasonable prices at the garden center on Monday and Thursday. The gardens are always improving. The butterfly garden really attracts many butterflies. It is very informative there. Trees and plants are labeled. This is a... More

For a nominal entrance fee these beautifully maintained gardens are a wonderful way to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Various garden exhibits from vegetables to florals, succulents and cactus give the perfect way to get ideas for planting or for gardening in Florida. I recommend this place highly

There was a lot to see but I was a little disappointed that some areas were not very accessible for a wheelchair. I did like the variety of things to see and most everything was well marked which is not always the case at a botanical garden.

We spent 1 hour meandering through the different gardens - definitely worth a $10 donation upon entry. Gorgeous views.
