Located next door to senior living organizations St. Ann’s assisted living and St Andrews independent living. Tried a Kava Komodo drink. It was very pricey at $12, in my opinion tasted awful. It had a somewhat analgesic affect after sipping it that I would compare it to Orajel, a mouth topical used to numb toothaches or hurting gums. I didn’t see many 55+ customers from health care center next door, the crowd was diverse and had chill environment and music and upstairs loft. The bartender warned me the drink bitter and didn’t taste very good and explained they had sweeter drinks available. I opted for Kava because it was after all a Kava bar. People were friendly, helpful, and took time to explain about the Natural, Kava root from Polynesian and Hawaii islands.…

The Purple Lotus is now on the waterfront in downtown West Palm. The new address is 255 Evernia. The space is awesome and has a very chill vibe. I think it's the best Kava bar in South Florida!

After walking all day on South Beach. The Kimono was the perfect pick me up! It tastes like dirt but within a quick 15/30 min your feeling lively and relaxed at the same time. Worth the $13 to feel uplifted and friendly.

I am a miami native so i have only have the privilege of attending the south beach kava bar but it is definitely my favorite spot on the beach! Everyone i have met here has been an amazing, interesting character and all the kava tenders are great, super friendly and take fabulous care of you! Id especially like to mention Ben and Gabe who are there on thursdays, they are extremely friendly and overall awesome people! Going to this location makes me want to take the trip to check out the other two locations; i recommend the kava bar to everyone i know. Full of great vibes and cool music, if you havent check it out, its about time you do! …

The products are terrible but the vibe and people are great. aside from the occasional stream of junkies and dirtbags the atmosphere is great the music is relaxing and the temperature perfect. The Kava could be better and the prices could be lower.
