This was an amazing place. We took our 14 year old granddaughter, and we all had a great time. We were part of a small group with a personal guide named Manny. He was smart, knowledgeable, and loved the animals. The animals were well cared for and active and entertaining. Wow! We had a great time.

Got some friends or family in from out of town and want to show off he joys of Florida? Here's a very special place with some extraordinary big cats. The staff is dedicated, knowledgeable and clearly love their work. The ligon (hybrid of a lion and tiger) is a particularly interesting animal. These cats never meet in the wild, but... More

We had a really good time. Our guide Kara was a big reason it was so much fun. You could tell how much she loved the animals and was very knowledgable I left knowing more than when I came.

It was a great place to visit -- you are within arms length of these beautiful big cats. They even have a liger (cross of lion & tiger) They tell the stories of how these creatures end up here. Some stories just heart broken. I'm also amazed at the collection of poisonous snakes -- You even get to encounter and... More

I had no idea that a place like this existed in Palm Beach County until my NY daughter in law selected a visit. The guide we had was knowledgeable and caring. The animals were diverse and seemed well cared for by the facility. This is a great family outing.

I have lived in Palm Beach County for many many years. I was looking for something new to do with out-of-town guests. I searched Trip Advisor and found McCarthy Wildlife Sanctuary. I can tell you that these glowing reviews are all completely true. McCarthy Wildlife is so much better than a regular zoo. You have small group tours and you... More

Extremely clean personalized tour of wildlife sanctuary. Reservations must be made in advance which keeps the tours to small groups so everyone can enjoy. Closest you will ever get to exotic wildlife. You can tell these animals are well cared for and loved. Tour guides are knowledgeable and also take care of the animals so can assist with any questions... More
