About
It's a Boat! It's a Bus! It's DivaDuck, a modern Hydra-Terra amphibious vessel. Take an exciting, fully narrated 75 minute sightseeing tour over land and sea. See many historic sites in Palm Beach, cruise past homes of celebrities and movie stars all while enjoying the beautiful tropical beauty of South Florida. Your tour guide and captain will keep you entertained with music, jokes and interesting facts. Customers love DivaDuck! - 98% approval rating from over 1000 reviews on our web site. Departs daily from Palm Beach Outlets. Your safety is our biggest concern. Our modern Hydra-Terra was built following a US Coast Guard approved design, which incorporates the use of floatation foam inside the hull. The Hydra proved unsinkable in very strenuous testing, even with a full load and filled with water. The water portion of our tour is in the protected Intercoastal Waterway, where calm water conditions prevail. We also use radar to insure we only go out in safe weather conditions.

Very reasonably priced, the Diva Duck tour was a perfect way to see some noteworthy points of interest, celebrity homes, and learn some history of WPB. The captain and narrator were both very professional and they sincerely appreciated me and my wife choosing to take the tour. Highly recommended for young, old, and all in between!

I booked this experience about a week in advance, not realizing the day of the trip was going to coincide with the Hurricane Eta. They called me in advance and rescheduled, which made for lovely weather when the day came.
Courtney was very knowledgeable of the local history, and she timed her history with the jokes and music. The music she played when not narrating/navigating was always on theme with something we just saw or she said. Made for a fun trip! And the driver/conductor made the transitions from land to water very smooth! Guessing it has something to do with him being a Master Chief Petty Officer?? 😋
Definitely a must when in town! Great for visiting friends and family!

Awesome tour. I grew up in Florida . .visited Palm beach a handful of times and took my husband there for the first time. Decided to do this tour "as something to do" but it turned out to be one of the best things we did on this trip. CAPTAIN Derrick and Courtney were awesome. We smoothed sailed through palm beach as Courtney pointed out buildings and gave history lessons. She took breaks and put on theme music to what she was talking. It made the trip fun with the music and jokes and ofcourse the reggae. Great ride we are in our 30s and although we were the youngest ones our ride it is great for all ages. Oh and I almost forgot the beat part...a vehicle in the water....so mind blowing

This was a very disappointing tour for both my wife and myself. Let me start with some positives first. The captain and the tour guide were both friendly and efficient. They were careful to follow protocols to keep everyone safe as it related to COVID-19 precautions. You could tell they wanted to give the customers a good experience. Now let me go over why we were so disappointed.
The following is on the Diva Duck website: "entertaining cruise that gets you an up close and personal view of the homes, mega yachts, and lifestyles of the rich and famous". This makes it look look like you are going to see homes of actual famous people, not distant relatives of the Post cereal family or distant relatives of Henry Ford like the first 2 homes we went by. If that was the only issue, this tour still would have warranted a higher score.
The biggest issue for us is that the tour guide spent all of her time pointing out things that were on the right side of the tour. She completely ignored the left side of the tour, which was the side we were on. So trying to get pictures of what she was pointing out was a bad experience since we would be trying to take pictures through the other people sitting on the right side of the tour. For example: the yacht club was on the left side of the bus as we were on the first leg of the tour, and if the tour guide would have pointed it out during that first leg we could have taken a good picture. Instead, she pointed it out (like everything else on the tour) as we were on the 2nd leg of the tour going back when it was on the right side of the vehicle. There were about 4 distinct locales that she could have easily pointed out to us on the left side, and then pointed out again later for those on the other side of the vehicle.
Since she always stayed on the right side of the vehicle in her points of interest, we got very few good pictures. Even if this were rectified, it still would have only been a mildly interesting tour. It was just not anywhere near as good as the several dozen similar tours we have taken throughout our travels across the U.S. and throughout locales in Central America and the Caribbean. We would not do this again.

Diva Ducks took me, my wife and my stepson on a journey through Palm Beach, showing us luxurious homes and historic sites. It was a nice, 75 minutes journey through the streets and in the water. The tour guide was excellent and funny and the captain of the ship did a great job navigating the streets and the water. I recommend this Duck Tour for families or even romantic tours for couples.

We really enjoyed the opportunity to view the sights in West Palm and Palm Beach areas. The tour was highly organized - we loved the assigned seating as it made the trip run smoothly. The team was enthusiastic and worked well together and the tour guide was up beat, funny, positive and had the music play list synced to his jokes. A great way to see the landmarks and understand the area!

I have lived in WPB almost 20 years and had never done this. My parents and sister’s were in town and they wanted some sort of narrated tour. This was so highly recommended and the price was right. We are SO glad we did it. It is the perfect length of time. Courtney, our duck host was so fun and knowledgeable. I learned things I never knew. Captain Dave was great as well. My out of town family loved it and I would highly recommend to anyone visiting or even us West Palmers who have never tried it. I will be taking others on this tour.

Paul was very knowledgeable and funny! Loved the choice of music and jokes. Hope they will consider fixing the speaker/mic system, but overall was a fun experience. You can also purchase water or chips for $1.

New amplifier went in that afternoon. Sorry for that. The salt air causes us to need to replace the amps roughly ever 6 months. Unfortunately, they don't give us any warning. The sound just loses about 30% of its strength during tour and we can't change it out until after the tour is back on land. We always change it out before the next tour though. I am glad to see that you still had a good time and enjoyed my tour! I was filling in that day for our tour guide who was out on vacation.

My family enjoyed the tour. We’ve taken duck tours in Pittsburgh and Boston, so we’re familiar with the concept. Our knowledgeable and funny tour guide and his driver led us through sites in Palm Beach that we would have otherwise not seen. We saw multi-million dollar mansions, yachts and the Flagler Drive area of West Palm. My only disappointment was not getting to see more of Palm Beach Island. Otherwise, I highly recommend this tour.

My sisters and I went on the Diva duck tour while our hubbies were deep sea fishing (0 fish caught). I believe that we had a lot more fun than they did. Captain Billy and Toni were great! Entertaining, informative with some humor thrown in and great music!! We would recommend this to others.

We are open for business and recently had a wonderful day enjoying the Diva Ducks tour in Palm Beach. Its a great trip and we will be offering it again during season along with many other day and multi-day destinations. Unfortunately, we will no longer be offering weekly casino trips.
Thanks for your interest. Hope to see you on one of our excursions.

Is Social Distancing followed on the Duck tour?
Written July 21, 2020
Diva Duck is following all recommended protocols for social distancing. All passengers and crew are required to wear a mask. We are also distancing passengers by going at reduced capacity and allowing for empty rows between passengers.
In addition, our vessel is open air. So we are truly an outside activity. We have open sides all the way to the roof to allow fresh air to flow freely. Plus, we are always moving. This keeps a fresh sea breeze coming through for the entire tour. We look forward to your visit.

We will be visiting in April, do the tours run every day and how far in advance do we need to book.
Written January 11, 2020
Jelsie, we run almost every day of the year. We do take a day or two off each month for maintenance. However, we try to do it on rainout days. The best thing to do is call me at 561-844-4188 to confirm dates and times. I can reserve seats for you.

Is it safe to bring a 2 year old kid?

Thank you to all the good friends of Diva Duck that answered while I was running away from Hurricane Dorian. I am back and must admit they answered well in my absence. Small children are welcome, but they must sit with a parent for their safety. :)

looks great, wish they ran it on Wednesdays in November
Written October 16, 2018
While I appreciate others trying to answer your question, here is the actual answer from Diva Duck. We will be running on Wednesdays during November and every other month. I have just not posted the November schedule yet. Our city boat ramp is under repair and is just about complete. In the mean time, we have been using alternate ramps that necessitate us having different start times for the tours. I am waiting on word from the city on the reopening date. Check back tomorrow and I should have a full November schedule posted.
