We love to kayak, and this river is our absolute favorite. You will only paddle about 4 miles but with the current the whole way. That way you can kayak as fast or as slow as you want. If you desire to see widlife then get there when Paddling Adventures opens and be one of the first to go down... More

I only had to hold back the last star because the facilities are a bit rustic, and because the young lady I talked to was a bit short with me on a super busy weekend, when my out-of-country phone may have been communicating poorly. You park in a sand lot, check in in a tiny lifeguard shack, and climb in... More

We went with a group of about 10. We rented kayaks and enjoyed the river for the day. It is a beautiful river. The water is clear and beautiful white sand in spots. These spots are often crowded however we enjoyed them anyways. Although the river is beautiful- this is Florida and there are snakes. There are probably gators but... More

Our party of 5 had a great day on this beautiful river. Apparently this company is under new management and are planning some upgrades to their reception area, e g. Paved parking lot, bathroom and check in area. The state park area was closed to visitors while we were there which meant having to paddle upstream, which was no real... More

Its seems Weeki Wachee Kayaking just changed their business model to lets waste our customers time. To my Weeki Wachee Kayaking no longer offers a shuttle service back to Weeki if you own your own kayak or SPD. Now you have to go to Weeki drop off your kayak, leave it unattented, pay to launch w a return shuttle, then... More

Did a half day at this park. We had a large group, 6 adults, 6 children and 2 teens. Saw two mermaid shows. The reptile show, and a boat tour. There is a kiddy pool that my kids loved. There is a large swimming hole in the Springs which is 74 degrees. There is a platform to jump off of.... More

Great experience! See manatee, wildlife and beautiful scenery on a pristine waterway. Stop half way and have picnic or swim in the pools. SO FUN!

Perhaps we should have looked for another place to kayak! 1st and foremost this company has no building unless you count a filthy Porta-Potty and a lopsided shed, a building. their website is incorrect in so many ways, there is not enough space here to go into detail. we were greeted by a kid who clearly did not want to...
