We've got to Pine Island a few times and enjoyed ourselves. No one will ever mistake it for Clearwater Beach but it's not bad for an area not known for beaches. It's nice that there's a rest room/changing area and small food stand (though it...More

We drive here occasionally to watch the sunset but we rarely get out of our car to linger because there are so many people and most of them are smokers. Cigarette smoke does not agree with me, but I think I'm in the minority. There...More

The sandy beach is on a peninsula that just out into the gulf with water on three sides. The parking lot is small—which limits the number of people. Nice for small children—there's a playground, clean restrooms and a snack bar. Perfect setting for a half...More

This is a nice place to have a picnic, take a stroll, do some wading. Not much more to it than that. A nice concessions stand that we didnt try.

A nice clean well kept area. Not really for swimming. Heard there is wildlife danger at time. here is a small snack shack, shade, tables, and restrooms.

Took the grandson and stayed for a couple of hours. The water was chilly but the beach was very clean and quiet. My grandson absolutely loved the playground and ran from one end to the other on the pirate ship. It's a great park and...More
