About
Just off of Highway 1, north of Vero Beach, is a retail nursery and garden center like none other. Seven acres of beautiful grounds; which include a pond, garden pathways, nature walk, and many outdoor living spaces. There is an extensive selection of plants featuring an in house Grower who has been cultivating on property for over 13 years. There are many professional services offered: including Landscape Design, Containerscape (container gardens), and Hardscape (outdoor living spaces, pathways, driveways, etc). There also sits a Garden Center Boutique on property which offers customers and endless array of essentials for creating and maintaining a successful garden along with accessories, unique gifts, and seasonal décor. The property also serves as a destination for hosting private events, business functions, weddings, and parties.

This place is DISHONEST. We picked out 2 rubber plants that were clearly marked $10.80 each. When we went to pay for them the woman at the register looked at the price and said, “ I can’t sell these to you for this price. They are $30 each. But I’ll give you 10% off.” Of course we walked out after she wouldn’t even discuss the discrepancy. I believe her actions are a second degree misdemeanor in Florida. What a shame. The place is lovely -but all that glitters is not gold! Not honest people. GREEDY.

If you want to buy unusual plants, a wide variety of herbs or newly developed bedding plants from the plant breeders this is the best place in Florida to buy them. I visit only twice a year because it's nearly two hours from my home. But that's where it stops.
The staff is awful. If I could give them negative numbers I would. They are very rude, and act as if you are bothering them when you ask a question. I had 5 carts full of plants and instead of helping me they were pushing me out the door - I guess they wanted to go home. You would think that they would be a little nicer to someone who was spending over $1,000. But I guess not.
To sum it up: great plants. Horrible staff.

This has to one of the best gardens in Tim Sams Travel USA!!
Come to shop, browse or just dream about the beautiful Garden!
Come just to walk and admire the plants by category! The entire garden is marked and well represented.

If you like plants, beautiful settings and unique items, you HAVE to visit this place. I have spent lots on entrance fees to botanical gardens throughout Florida and have never seen anything that even compares to this free venue. Amazing!! I don't think I saw the first yellowed leaf or unhealthy plant on all of the acres. Beautifully landscaped. Good job to all of the friendly workers who took the time to smile and answer our questions.

What a surprise we experienced when we visited this 7 acre showplace garden nursery.
This is the most wonderful garden retail/wholesale in Florida! We’ve been 3 times this month and still have some to see. An amazing hardscape area, with stones, bricks and every shape and color. A charming nature trail, spectacular pond, creeks, spectacular bromeliad area, and a huge variety of inside, outside, and high quality artificial plants and trees. Prices on all live plants are reasonable. The huge palms, bird of paradise and cypress are almost from another planet‼️. Don’t miss this place if you have any interest in horticulture.

Wow! This place is magical. 7 acres of beautiful flowers, plants, trees, and art surrounding a serene lake. This is unlike any other nursery I've ever seen. Plan on staying a couple of hours to view everything.It's quite the experience and will leave you feeling relaxed and happy.

Whether you’ve come just to enjoy the gardens or to purchase plants (from the wide variety offered) you are in for a treat! Rock City makes me smile and stop and smell the roses! I love it here, and the staff obviously loves working there. Everyone is anxious to help and satisfy any questions you may have. Be sure to stroll around the park like gardens in the back. The place gets better every time I go!!

This was a beautiful space. The grounds are kept very well and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We brought our camera and snapped a few great family photos. They have just about anything you can think of and they even host weddings - what a beautiful backdrop that would be.

This was a hidden gem. It is seven acres of gardens. I wish it were not so hot so we could have seen it all. I did think they were a little pricey but they did have unusual things there. I did but a small wooden turtle. They should rent gold carts to view all of it.

This is one of the most beautiful garden centers I have ever had the pleasure of visiting and I have visited a lot. The layout is beautiful and serene. Plants are organized and very well groomed. You won't find any half dead, diseased plants here. The staff are all very helpful and friendly, especially Stephanie. She gave us a brief history and said they had some new and exciting things in store for their customers. Although I live in St. Augustine I will always make Rock Gardens a preferred stop when I travel south.
