Captain Kirby’s boat excursion is perfect for Vero Beach visitors looking to enjoy a relaxing and guided trip on the water - manatees no one else could find, up close with dolphins, luxurious homes and old docked boats in hidden coves as to not be found. As a local native, captain Kirby blends his area expertise with a fun personality to make the trip memorable. He is adaptable to guests interested to hear his wealth of knowledge or also let’s guests mingle on their own if preferred. We visit annually and will likely take trips with captain Kirby again. I highly recommend Treasure Coast Cruise.

This was so quiet and relaxing. Captain Kirby took us in, out, and round about dozens of little islands. He pointed out all kinds of things to us. We brought sandwiches and drinks with us and really enjoyed it. You book a private tour so you’re not crammed in with dozens of others.

Had a very enjoyable and relaxing 90 minute ride around some of the Indian River Lagoon. Capt had lots of info on the waterway, wildlife, and area developments. Also got some local dining recommendations that we are looking forward to trying out. One important note; as a person who has mobility issues, the pick up area is very close to parking so getting to and from the boat and car were very easy. The boat itself was open and easy to get around in. I would recommend this for people who have these sort of challenges.

Have done many "tourist" type things including planes, kayaks, airboat and charter fishing in Vero Beach and this is a MUST-DO. Very clean and comfortable boat. Precisely on-time and easy to park and board.
Captain Kirby is easy going but extremely knowledgeable about the plants animals and fish in the Indian River. He also has a great knowledge of local history.
Dogs enjoy this cruise too!
Private to your group even if only 2people. Highly recommend.

During our wonderful ten days in Vero Beach our cruise with Captain Kirby on the Indian River was the best and most memorable thing we did. Captain Kirby is knowledgeable and flexible and crafts his tours to the interests of the group. He does everything he can to create a calm and relaxing experience. In fact, if I were local, I’d book one of these cruises every time I needed to relieve stress. We learned so much about the plants and wildlife on the river and enjoyed a beautiful sunset and moon rise. We were fortunate enough to see a pod of dolphins playing and enjoyed several minutes just watching them. We enjoyed appetizers and wine from Dockside Grille on the boat, but you can also arrive early and take advantage of the happy hour prices at Dockside and not have to balance eating on your lap. Although we wanted to focus on nature, we also enjoyed seeing some of the lovely homes and bridges/boats as we finished our cruise. You can’t go wrong booking a cruise with Captain Kirby!

My family and I booked a 10am private cruise for 5 adults and 3 kids with Captain Kirby. His pick up location was convenient at McWilliams Park in Vero. He was on time and his boat was clean. Captain Kirby is very knowledgeable, nice, and has been a long time Vero Beach resident. We saw dolphins, birds, and went all around the canals and inlets. He shared history and other tidbits of information. The cruise lasted about 1.5 hours. It's a unique way to get out on a boat and see parts of Vero that you can't see from your car or by walking. I highly recommend booking with him.

Our experience could not have been better. Captain Kirby is such a nice person. He is very knowledgeable and gave us very interesting insights regarding local history and nature. My kids were fascinated as we were fortunate enough to see dolphins, various birds and even a manatee on our tour. Do not hesitate to book a tour with him!!

I recently treated 3 friends to a sunset cruise. It was the best time I’ve had on the Indian River Lagoon in many years. Beautiful sunset and a dolphin escort! I just reserved another cruise next week as a surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday. Captain Kirby won’t disappoint you.

We just returned from a sunset/dolphin cruise and what a treat. Our party of 8 was treated to the viewing of more than an hour of continuous dolphin pods that escorted our boat up and down the river. How nice it was to have the boat to ourselves and a Captain that provided appropriate insight at all the right points in the tour. We now have a treasure trove of videos and pictures to last a lifetime. Thanks Treasure Coast Cruises for a great night and wonderful memories from this vacation.
