This was my second fossil hunting tour with Fred. It’s always an enjoyable experience and if you want to find sharks teeth and fossils, you need Fred as your guide. I found lots of teeth and some nice megs. He’s extremely knowledgeable, and makes it a fun experience for all ages. You’ll leave with plenty of teeth and some great memories. I highly recommend it, and I’ll definitely be going back.

My wife , son and daughter in law sent two days with Fred on the Peace River. The first day we found about 3-400 teeth, The second day around five hundred more. Fred was great, helpful in many ways. This was our first fossil hunting trip. I highly recommend him.

We ventured out to the Peace River for some fossil hunting on April 7th. Fred was an excellent guide, helping us navigate the shallow waters in our canoe, and getting in the water to shovel up gravel and fossils for us to sift. He was so helpful identifying the various fossils. We ended up with 3+ MEG teeth and many more smaller shark teeth and bones. Bring water, lunch, good water shoes - and SUNSCREEN. Fred provides the canoes, life jackets, fossil hunting permit, shovels and sifters. I didn’t even know fossil hunting was a thing until our daughter suggested this excursion. This was a perfect activity for my husband and I with our two teen kids. Highly recommend!!!

Our family went on this adventure on April 5th, which included Dad, mom, 19y old niece and our 13y old son.We had a great time! Fred put us on a good dig site on the Peace River. We found a ton of cool fossils, even a MEG tooth!!! You really need to pack snacks and drinks. Good water shoes are a must because the gravel gets in and makes your feet sore. Fred was a great guide and kept all of us engaged in the hunt. No gators anywhere to worry about. Will be doing this more often, it’s just as bad as gold fever!!!

With all fossil hunting in Florida, we should have been here 20 years ago when it was easy, BUT... Fred knows his stuff and I would have to say we had a great time. We did end with one nice Meg and a pretty Mako...and many other naive teeth. If you can paddle upstream, use a shovel, then call and make a trip you won’t regret.
