My husband and I went for a walk here in December. There were many varieties of bird nesting on the small island in the center of the lake. We walked around the small lake which was placed on one side. Saw more birds back by the trailer park and also the bat houses. It just took 15 minutes to walk around the lake - fun to see all the birds along the way.

Best during nesting season, but a peaceful oasis anytime. Great at sunset when the birds all fly in for the night. Several bat houses are fun to watch just after sunset when they soar out into the sky. Famous worldwide for photographers.

First time there. What a good experience there is volunteers to explain the different birds. I also got to see some of the new hatchings so awesome. There are benches all around for relaxing.
