Great beach, they have free yoga every morning such a great way to start your day. The beach is spotless, they have a worker emptying trash barrels daily, also picks up any litter he sees. The life guards are very friendly and full of information. A great place to go alone or with family. Don't forget a great place to... More

The Venice municipal beach is a wonderful place to watch the sunset. Beach has lifeguards, snack bar and restrooms. Plenty of free parking at the beach and on nearby streets. One popular activity is hunting for shark's teeth.

Between Punta Gorda and Tampa exist some incredible beaches with Siesta Key taking #1 honors. But I live in Venice and I moved here because I wanted to be clod\se to a good beach. While Venice is no Siesta Key, itis not bad. Itis clean. Its lifeguard protected and the parking is FREE!

Clean, very quit in early morning. Great for morning walks looking for sharks teeth. I found one about 1 inch long. Plenty room to park and clean rest rooms.

we went there to look for shark teeth, since we heard it was the shark tooth capital of the world. My 12 year old wanted to find some. We didn't actually find any , but did see some dolphins swimming really close to shore- it was pretty cool!

Venice beach is one of my all-time favorites. Love looking for those black petrified shark teeth in the surf line. The beach is pretty expansive each way and there is actually some "shade" seating under the pier where people tend to sit in the heat of the day. The water is very clear and plenty of great shells to be... More

There's a band shell where folks gather, dance or just listen to the music. When I was there, the beach was getting a face lift. Its quiet and peaceful if thats your thing.

What a perfect beach, turtles are protected here. The beach is serviced by a little snack bar with toilet and changing facitilities. There is a lifeguard on duty and it's safe for swimming. Lots of families here.

Great place to watch a sunset over the gulf! Restored beach, so you wont find many sharks teeth. Has snack stand/store, showers and restroom. Great for the family.

Venice Beach is located a nice walk from the downtown area. Nice big beach and good sand! So grab a treat in the downtown area and head to the beach!
