Just happened to end up here while driving on the road after looking for a different landmark. The area was inviting and very scenic. Decided to scope out the park and it was very family friendly. It was not crowded but I imagine it would be in peak season. Definitely a place to visit if you are in the area!

This has to be one of my favourite places to sit and relax, along with the frequent sites of dolphins swimming along the jetty plus activity of the Pelicans diving in the water, not to mention the boats passing by, umm I love this location.

Had a great time with my Granddaughters watching the dolphins jumping it the jetty. There were also lots of local fishermen that were glad to show the girls their catch. For them it was fascinating. Parking can be a little tight but ive always found a place.

We went there for a few hours before our charter on Sail Venice which is unfortunately not listed on Trip Advisor. Walked the beach looking for shark's teeth and shells; had a picnic lunch. Not too busy which surprised us. Advise to get there before 11 a.m. as parking is limited. ALSO RECOMMEND A SAIL VENICE CHARTER.

Beautiful white sand. Fishing from the jetty. Pelicans. Beautiful green-blue waters of the Gulf. Convenient parking. Worth the stop.

What a fun place on a late Sunday afternoon this time of year when dozens of boats of all sizes line up in parade to enter the inland waterway. Memorial benches line the shore and hundreds of people pass the time.

Good parking and sight-seeing. We did not see the sunset as suggested but enjoyed the fact that they have benches along the channel to sit and watch boats coming and going. Saturday morning brought the sailing school boats which were fun to watch. We walked out the path out into the water and along some of the rocks and watched... More

The South Jetty is an interesting place to visit if you enjoy seeing watercraft traveling at "no wake" speed, lots of interesting waterfowl up close, and awesome sunsets. Parking is limited, so be patient while searching for a spot.
