Aaron and Eric were very nice. Did a great job explaining the different trail possibilities to take with our kayaks. It was sunny and very hot when we went and did not see any manatees but we saw lots of fish and many different types of birds including an Osprey up close. The equipment was in good shape and worked well for us. Great place for beginners as there is no boat traffic and the channel is nice and wide. Great for families. I would recommend these guys to all my friends and family. We will definitely be back!

Such a beautiful place to kayak! The cove was sheltered and peaceful, and when we paddled out to the gulf, we saw a dolphin up close! Lots of beautiful waterfowl in the mangroves. Aaron was the operator, and he was super nice and informative. We can’t wait to visit Aaron and kayak again next week!

The 2 guys that work there are absolutely amazing, and did everything they could to make sure we got on the water to have a great time. They went above and beyond giving us advice and guidance on where to go and what we could see. Definitely recommend!!! Will absolutely be back because of the staff!

We enjoyed a leisurely morning kayaking at Fort De Soto State Park. We arrived early to get into the water in the cool of the morning. My wife and I each grabbed a single kayak. We paid at the time we left, assured we could spend more time as needed and settle up after returning. The water current made the trip out from the shore easy. There was plenty of room to navigate the shoreline, as well as the middle of the inlets. We saw many birds, fish, and other boaters. On our return, we saw manatees along the shore, watching them move slowly across the waters. That was the moment of the trip for my wife! Access in and out of water is easy. The staff was friendly and corteous. Early in the morning is a great time to get to the park. Make this a part of your visit!
