Probably not the best place for snorkeling As they cater to divers. They took our $ and took us out 6 miles with 6 ft waves! No way to snorkel or even do anything but fight the waves!

These guys were outstanding! We went diving on a beautiful day when it was 80 degrees and very little wind, Perfect diving conditions existed, no wave action and 80 feet of visibility. We were supposed to go with another dive shop, but they had to...More

My husband and I did a 2 tank dive with them in Dec 2018. We went to the Eagle and did a "double dip", dove it twice (which I understand is pretty common) and was totally fine with us. We do a lot of diving...More

Dove with them on a organized trip. Sticklers for being on time (which I like), but flexible when they are taking care of groups. Seas were moving those couple days, but they did their best to entertain as well as keep the boat moving. Brad...More

We had fun on this trip. The crew was super nice. Our 4 hour snorkel trip was only 3 hours from leaving to being back in the marina but it was okay as we didn't spent much time on the boat getting to the sites...More

First experience snorkeling away from land. What a trip! Coral was beautiful and so diverse. An amazing variety of colorful fish. The highlight was seeing the eel and small shark in their natural habitat. The captain and crew were confident and knowledgeable. They had instructions...More

What do you think about: Florida Keys Dive Center or Horizon Divers or Captian Slates? Go to the Key Large between Christmas and New Years and plan to dive for 4 days. Any information is welcomed!

Good choices on all three. Spencer''s boats generally are in the northern part of Pennekamp Park. The Spiegel Grove, the Christ Statue, Carysfort and th eElbow are all great dives. The other two generally are a little further south- Molasses Reef, Minnow Cave, French Reef, the Benwood wreck. The clarity and currrents are usually consistent north and south. Spencer's boats leave out of an are called Garden Cove, Horizon out of the harbor near the Holiday Inn. Both charge about the same and all...More
