Excellent experience. Knowledgeable Captain, excellent diver, very much worth the $10 cost. A lot of history of sponge diving and the industry was shared. Diver actually dove an brought up a sponge for us to feel.

This 40 or so minute tour will give you the best information on the sponge industry in Tarpon Springs. Tour is only $10 per adult and includes a sponge diver in action, which is very cool to witness.

Parking near the pier is convenient and cheap. The tours run frequently and are very informative, even the kids will enjoy this boat ride and combo history lesson.
