Fishing pier with great views.
Sep 2021 • Solo
Great pier for fishing. Near the beginning of the pier you can see a lot of wildlife in the water. Crabs, comb jellyfish, needlefish, other fish.

Has a great view of Tampa. Gorgeous views of the bay.

Great playground and waterpark for kids.

The best things in life are free!

This park does not disappoint! Fun for all. There is a splash pad for the kiddos, nice grassy areas to have a picnic, pavilions, nice clean playground, bathrooms, small eatery with views of the bay! I always pick up lunch and grab a picnic table overlooking the bay with my 12 year old son and enjoy the views at park!

Great family park
Oct 2020
This is a great place to spend time with a family. It has a water park, a play area, a pier to fish and walk on, a nice little restaurant, good parking, and is well maintained.

Fishing Spot
Nov 2019
Nice park on outskirts of downtown. 20 mins drive from bayshore boulevard.
Lots of people were present fishing, place was busy.

Decent location, not extraordinary and doesn't have the best view of the waterfront.

Drive to the end of Bayshore blvd
Jan 2020
Driving the Bayshore blvd, the world's longest seaside promenade, will reward you seeing terrific homes on one side and Tampa Bay on the other (see that review).
When reaching the end of it (some 15 min drive) continue further straight for few min and you'll reach this great park, open to the sea. Parking is free.
The main attraction is the fishing pier offering terrific views of both, Tampa Bay and downtown Tampa.

Beautiful private gem not well known
Dec 2019
This quaint little park and pier is just down the street from my home otherwise I doubt I would know about it. It has beautiful views of downtown Tampa (especially at night) a playground and water park for the kids, a fishing pier with bait shop, and a nice little restaurant called the Taste of Boston, serving up some up North favorite chowders, etc. Great just to sit on one of the benches and take in some piece and quiet, right on the water. The restroom facilities are lacking in cleanliness and amenities, as you may expect from any public park. Great for the playground, or just a quick snack by the water on one of the picnic tables. There are covered areas available for parties as well.

Fun Playgrounds
Aug 2019
My two little grandsons love coming here. There is a toddler playground and a large one for older kids. There is also a splash pad the both boys like. We also like to walk out on the pier and watch the people fishing. When we are done we always have some ice cream in the shop. Parking is at a premium however.

cool way to end a warm summer day
Jul 2019 • Friends
Well ordered and maintained walkways lead to a long pier which takes you over the water to freshen up with the calming breezes off the bay and to view the Tampa skyline.
