Beautiful park right on the Hillsborough River and part of the Tampa Riverwalk. Small park with not a lot of amenities. That means it's never crowded. Perfect for kicking back, relaxing, and people watching. Just two blocks from TECO Streetcar. Definitely worth checking out.

Spent some time here during River Fest when a pop-up bar and a couple of restaurants were setup in the park. It's small, which means not a lot of people know about it and it's a great place to people-watch on the water.

Strolling the Riverwalk early in the morning, watching the sunrise over beautiful downtown Tampa. Stopped at MacDill Park for breakfast. Wait.. There's a restaurant in the park? Well, kind of.. It's a food cart. Don't let that deter you. The food is amazing! It's called Yolk, White, & Associates. Total gourmet meal, right down to the coffee. All prepared by a super friendly guy named Dylan. Delicious meal in a beautiful park.. Can't beat that!
Highly recommended!

Just a great place to "switch off" and enjoy a beautiful area. Combine with a river walk and enjoy the TECO tram cars which are close by too. Not very busy when we visited and a few places nearby for food and a drink.

This park is a nice memorial space. There are a few benches but it isn’t much of a park. Information about MacDill is in this area as well.

This is a small park located on the banks of the Hillsborough river. It's a nice place to stop, take a break and relax while you enjoy the boats, jet ski's and paddle boarder's coming and going. Other than a place to enjoy a snack and take a break there is not much more going on here.

My dad was stationed at MacDill AFB in 1966 before deploying as an F-4 pilot in Vietnam. He was shot down and his body never recovered. I was absolutely thrilled to find this small park filled with information about MacDill and its history. What a treasure! If you are a military fan this is a must visit, albeit it a brief one. Thank you Tampa!

Pretty interesting stop for all things patriotic! It represents each branch of the military and provides lot's of information about MacDill. We will be going our "first look" here in three weeks time. Pretty views of the River.
