About
Can You Escape? is a fun, interactive game located in Tampa, FL. While it may sound like we're placing you in a jail cell, it's actually a themed real-live escape room. How does it work? When you arrive you will join your teammates, be briefed on your chosen room and escorted in, but once you're inside the room- you're on your own and the door is locked! You and your team will work together to find the hidden objects, figure out the clues and solve the puzzles to earn your freedom. Do it quickly- 60 minutes goes by fast! If you're ready for a challenge and looking for something to do that is out of the ordinary, then this is for you. Come with friends, family or co-workers to have a great time and participate in one of our rooms. Can you escape in 60 minutes? One team. One adventure. One hour. Go!

My group of teenagers had a blast! The “magic lady in the walkie talkie” (as the kids called her) aka Emma was very great and very helpful when they got stuck on clues. Only tip would be to make sure to list everyone playing ahead of time (up to 6) we weren’t able to add anyone without an extra cost and know there has to be one adult that stays. Great thing to do on a rainy day!

We have completed many of the Escape Rooms and are excited for the new one coming soon. We had the best time in the challenging Russian Spy Room and escaped with 3 minutes to spare. Our game host, Jay, was so much fun and does a great Russian accent, to elevate the game experience. Our group were ages 9-59 and everyone was able to participate and add to the quest.

Wow, congrats on such a narrow escape! And with such a wide age range too! It's always so cool to watch multiple generations come together for the common goal - everyone has something to contribute! We hope to see you again soon!

This was my first escape room and I had a blast. The time limit really encourages exploring quickly and communicating what you find. The pirate ship was very well designed; I loved the music and the various treasures and other pirate themes surrounding us as we pieced together clue by clue.

I hosted my daughter’s 10th birthday party at Can You Escape. I highly recommend booking parties or events at this venue. The conference room is large! The game masters were awesome! We had so much fun. And yes we were challenged. Thank you Celia and Jay for being such awesome game masters! I will definitely be back. Can’t wait to try the pirate room. Again, thank you for a wonderful experience.

We did the Medieval room and it was so well put together! I was extremely impressed with the quality of the puzzles. Definitely worth the price! I would definitely recommend if you're new to escape rooms do it with a group. More minds makes things a little easier. If you're a veteran you'll have no problem with just 2 people. Our game master Emma was amazing as well! Her hints weren't flat out answers but weren't so cryptic we couldn't decipher them. Just the perfect nudge in the right direction.

My 9 year old daughter &her 10 year old best friend have been here quite a few times and really enjoy the challenging aspect of the rooms. I like it because they keep the place clean, it’s very well run, and the staff really works well with younger children and keeps them engaged and having a tremendous time! Especially the staff member Celia, she was awesome! She really interacted well with them and ensured that they got the most out of the experience. It was challenging for their minds using math to solve the clues, and exciting for them as well. All in all, a tremendous value, and I finished up some paperwork for business between peeks on the cameras that they had (so parents can watch their kids in action). Just a well thought out attraction that the kids thoroughly enjoyed.

We had a great time and Kaylee was a great host. We did the medieval room and the whole group was quite good at it, especially our two high school senior boys. They were so quick I couldn’t keep up with them! We finished with 17:15 min remaining. Fun time! My only feedback was it can be a little expensive for a family of 6 but worth it regardless.
Oh and I forgot to add the escape staff was awesome. We were looking for something to do before we left town and even though they didn’t open until 4, they arranged a time for us before opening hours. We really appreciate the staff and will come back next time we are in town. Thank you

The room was amazing and Emma was a great game master. She helped us along without revealing too much. The room was a challenge but not too difficult and we all loved it (including my 15-month-old baby who thought the decor and props were cool)

We had Jay for both the Hoho no experience and the Jose Gaspar resurrection experience and boy is he an incredible game master. Jay really knows how to create an environment that everyone will enjoy and was incredibly helpful in guiding us a long each step of the way. I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in town this place is amazing!

My husband and I were doing it alone.
It was super fun and interactive.
Celia was so awesome and helpful, especially with my request to let us try 100x before we got any help
She made our experience that much better. She was so sweet! Definitely planning on coming back in the near future.

I did the office and the zombie room. They were both awesome. I wouldn't recommend the zombie room for the 8 year old if they are scared of those types of things. It's pretty fun though.

My friends and I played the office medium difficultly last August. We are booking again this month. If we choose medium difficultly again (in the same room) will we be playing the exact same game or do they change?

Hello, They are outside of the room watching from a remote area on a computer monitor. If you start to struggle in the process, they can see that you are having a rough time and will feed you some hints to help :)

Hi Wizshell, Can You Escape? Tampa has been created for adults in mind. That being said, we've had hundreds of families with middle school and high school children join in on the adventure. We whole-heartedly welcome your birthday group to participate as well! We will caution you that you will need adults in the room to 'supervise' and 'assist' where the game is just too challenging. Booking out Office 2 would be most fun; it's spacious and would allow your group to play alone. Sounds like fun and we can't wait to help make your son's birthday a FANTASTIC day! -CYE Team
