We followed our hometown hockey team to Tampa to go to the game, of course, wearing my teams jersey. We did not buy food, and it did seem to be priced rather high, though it did look good. We went for a Friday night game. There was a lot going on outside the arena, music, booths, and even free barbecue... More

Just left a Lightning hockey and it was awesome!!! The staff was extremely courteous, the venue is immaculate, and enjoyable. I highly recommend attending a game if you can. It won't disappoint!!!

I went to the Amalie Arena for a Lightning hockey game. It was an awesome experience, if you haven't been to one go. The arena is beautiful really clean corridors and bathrooms. The smell of food from the concessions stands flows. The home teams fans exploding in euphoria when they score. Its a sensory overload but in a pleasant one.... More

Our first concert was Billy Joel and the lines were horrendous but we got in before he started. The security check was like the airport but went smooth. We went back to see Barry Manilow and expected the same lines but there were none so we walked right in. The large overhead screen helps patrons to see artist better since... More

As easy access makes the use of this arena for special events headache free. There are no barriers that prevents visibility of the event you came to see.

Every concert I have seen here has been a disappointment. They need to to really invest into creating a better sounding environment for listening to musical performances if they want to charge people to experience their favorite artists here. I have a strong feeling they just don't want to spend any money on making it sound better. Tampa can afford... More

Tampa Bay Lightning season ticket holder and super happy to have an arena this nice. Beautiful views of the Channelside district, downtown and the waterfront are impressive and the staff is always professional and courteous. A great place for visitors and locals both so check out a concert or a game and you won't be disappointed.

Traffic getting out was good and that is the best thing I have to say about this arena! We had things thrown at us for standing up during concert. Security didn't care. In fact came and had someone turn their phone off that was taking pictures because of flash. I saw someone get spit on and a child have change... More

We had a marvelous time. It was a great way to get our hockey 'fix' while on vacation. The Bolts & Penguins put on a great show that included an OT win for the home team - exciting!

We went to see the Leafs vs Lightning, visiting from Toronto. The crowd was great and the venue did a real good job at entertaining the crowd and getting everyone pumped up. Fans were nice to us, just the typical sports chirping back and forth but it was all jokes and we had fun. Lack of entertainment in the area... More
