My family and I have been at the Amalie Arena a number of events. Sports, Music concert, and special children orientated shows. Regardless of the events we have always had a wonderful time feeling secure and comfortable. If you go for an event with ice, take a light jacket. You may needed. It can get sort of nippy at time.

It's a shame that this is the go-to large concert venue in Tampa. It's primarily a hockey venue and should stay as such. The acoustics are the worst of any venue I've ever been, including other basketball, hockey venues. I've been going to concerts in at least 7 states for almost 50 years, love music and this is the worst... More

Great atmosphere during games, foods not bad, cold beer. Parking isn't congested most times. Centrally located to Bay areas!

I have been there a few times and finally got to writing a review. The arena is great the atmosphere is awesome. I am not a Lightning fan but its a great place to watch a game. I have done the rink of dreams experience where you play on the ice before and that was awesome. The staff was amazing... More

We went to Amalie Arena to experience the Beach exhibit. It was crowded so we did not take the plunge but the concept was very interesting. Complete with beach chairs, umbrellas, beach balls and a concession stand. Check it out it is all free including parking, admission and ice cream on the way in. Thank you to the Lightning owners... When in Tampa I strongly suggest you take a walk along the Tampa River Walk and at the start of the river walk you see the Amalie Arena. You can walk around it to take in a full view of this interesting building. We did not have the time to take a tour...maybe on my next family trip to Tampa...

The venue host numerous events from sports, concerts, and crazy things like putting a beach in the arena. There is a parking garage onsite or you can park with vendors across the street. It is also walking distance to the Florida Aquarium and the Port of Tampa. If you get the opportunity to visit for an event, you won't be... More

I'll tell you how bad the acoustics are in this place. Went to see ZZ top one time. They were half way through LA GRANGE before we could figure out what song they were playing! All we could hear was the low ends and some of the bass lines. Nuff said. Avoid throwing good money away at this really poor... More
