We attend Tampa Bay Lightning hockey games regularly. A beautiful arena where even the nose bleed seats have a terrific view. Lots of food choices. Only deterrent is parking. If you don't arrive an hour before the event, good luck with the parking. The roads are so congested in that area, that it's difficult to get into the traffic lanes... More

We are from the Pittsburgh area and retired to Tampa Bay to be with our sons. For my youngest son's birthday, I took him to an NHL Hockey game and can not express how much we enjoyed the experience. We sat in Sec 129, row N seats 7 & 8 which have a direct view to the net the visitors... More

The sight lines are quite good, and since it is not huge, you always feel like you're right on top of the action. The food and drink prices are in line with most stadiums. Plan on about $20 per person, unless you are going to really chow down.

Been to several games over the years. I'm a huge hockey fan. Best hockey rink in the NHL. They always have multi planned events between periods for entertainment. Thunder Alley always have bands, food trucks, and many vendors prior to the game. Several parking lots are close to facility.

We followed our hometown hockey team to Tampa to go to the game, of course, wearing my teams jersey. We did not buy food, and it did seem to be priced rather high, though it did look good. We went for a Friday night game. There was a lot going on outside the arena, music, booths, and even free barbecue... More

I went to the Amalie Arena for a Lightning hockey game. It was an awesome experience, if you haven't been to one go. The arena is beautiful really clean corridors and bathrooms. The smell of food from the concessions stands flows. The home teams fans exploding in euphoria when they score. Its a sensory overload but in a pleasant one.... More

Our first concert was Billy Joel and the lines were horrendous but we got in before he started. The security check was like the airport but went smooth. We went back to see Barry Manilow and expected the same lines but there were none so we walked right in. The large overhead screen helps patrons to see artist better since... More

As easy access makes the use of this arena for special events headache free. There are no barriers that prevents visibility of the event you came to see.
