Quite impressive park with a number of outdoor activitie. We got there a little late around 3:00pm. The visitor center has an interesting and informative display. The boardwalk is well maintained with some great views. There are also paved & unpaved trails.

We saw two large alligators (as we’d hoped, from the safety of the boardwalk), many lovely trees, birds, and an armadillo up close. The exhibits in the visitor center were limited (we saw them all in 5-10 minutes) but the boardwalk and nature trails were...More

This is a fantastic place to visit if you’re on a budget and you want to see some wildlife in their natural habitat. While I was there I saw an alligator, two turtles, a few snakes and numerous birds. Definitely worth a visit.

The Park has an observation area as well as extensive paved trails and wooden boardwalks that are very well maintained. The walk was easy (I had a 1yo and 3yo) and even in peak tourist season it was not very crowded. We saw a water...More

It is dog friendly , however; only in spots. Dogs are not to be on the boardwalk unless it is a service dog.

First come first serve. However for a special occasion and need to reserve more than one I would contact the park Rangers.
