Went there for an office party for xmas. Wear a heavy coat or jacket. It's like the name, outside! The bartender was friendly and made very good drinks. I had a long Is. Ice Tea and later a margarita, both were very good. Parking is very limited so get there early. It's a nice little patio bar on Macdill Ave.

I went here recently to meet a group of friends. One of the friends reserved the "VIP" section, which is just a small covered area. A DJ booth and 3 guys took up most of the space for a sizeable portion of the night, which limited how many of us could fit. The friend who made the reservation wasn't notified of this ahead of time and was rightfully angry when she arrived. As the night went on, it got increasingly crowded which made it difficult to navigate around the bar. The bathroom situation is terrible. They guys have "stalls" and there are 2 single bathrooms for women. At one point the women's bathroom line was so long that I almost went to the men's. They don't serve food so be sure to eat prior to going. We were overcharged twice as well. While waiting for other friends to arrive, we ordered drinks. The bartender didn't say they were pouring double-shot drinks until we questioned our bill. Later that night, we were charged for something we never ordered (the amount was more than double our actual drink order) was told that it was an "IT error." When we disputed it, the bartender threatened to get security. I called the bank the following morning and got the charge reversed. It was nice seeing our friends but we are never going back.
TL;DR: charged for drinks we didn't order, overcrowded, younger crowd (college kids), no food.

We came here for a toy drive/ Stuff the Bus event. The outdoor scene was totally awesome - multiple options for seating/tall tables for standing. Plenty of TVs and friendly staff serving up the drinks that were included with the bands for the event.

The outside seating is very cozy, plenty of fans and ways to cool down. Why do I love it? Because it is one of the few places that you can sit outside in Tampa without being on the street. There are plenty of TVs, 3 bars and a variety of seating options. We have been stopping by for about 3 years now and we are never disappointed. I love that they don't serve food because I am not limited to their menu. You can bring your own food, order pizza, delivery, UBER Eats...whatever you are hungry for.

Advertised as a Buffalo Bills backers bar and the Mafia showed up STRONG!
Yes, they showed the game on 2 TVs, however the audio was on for the Bucs game. Are you kidding me? Doesn’t make sense at all. Well then they should say they are a Bucs Backers bar.
We have lots of options that we will consider in the future.

A group of us went to this bar, because they advertised as being a Bills Backers Bar. I had been to 4 previous Bills Backers Bars in different states, and they all catered specifically to Bills fans. In this bar however, there were perhaps 20 different tv screens throughout the bar, but only 2 of the screens were on the Bills game....and with NO AUDIO! They had the audio for the Tampa game on, but there were approximately 4 people there to watch that game. ( there were over 50 there to watch the Bills game). At different times throughout the game, different Bills fans had gone up to ask that they put the sound on for the Bills game....and on 2 different occasions All of of us actually started chanting for them to do so....but to no avail.

In my large Ohio college town in the mid-2000s, there were clearly bars that discerning upperclassmen preferred to the requisite clubs catering to those under 21. Oftentimes the choice came down to the places that had a more manageable crowd (i.e. a Frat House without the free beer) and chilled out atmosphere, but mostly because then majority of patrons weren't bros in striped shirts reeking of fear and desperation.
Several blackouts and almost a decade later, I found myself as a recent transplant from NYC, incredulous when I discovered Tampa's hilariously designated "SoHo" neighborhood was the city's de facto nightlife hub. If your demands for entertainment include several identical meat market clubs (that still allow dudes in shorts somehow) advertising $10 bladder buster deals, "the basic cable" of DJs, and loaded University of Tampa chicks who may never visit the less colloquially known Soho to spend daddy's or Daddy's real estate winnings on vintage hats made this year.
It wasn't until I met a mutual friend at the Patio for a Lightning playoff game watch party that I discovered the utter salvation that this establishment provides. Centrally located, but located away from the main traffic of Howard, people that come to Patio are there to blow off steam, meet friends, play prog rock on TouchTunes and chain smoke. OR, default to our baser gender binary instincts and try to bone down.
The weekday regulars are in their early 30s, many from the service-industry who can appreciate a well-made cocktail or cold bottle of Bud equally. Patio staffs the nicest male and female bartenders in Tampa and without question, some of the most beautiful women. It's like one after the other. And this is from a sales professional who counts Hooters as his top customer. One former staff member even cooked her homemade, family recipes for patrons lucky enough to be there for special events advertised on social media.
Although there is ample seating and darts in the climate-controlled indoor space, the eponymous outdoor space features several high-top tables separating a courtyard and elevated seating area with additional adjacent service stations. You will never have a problem getting served on a busy night. University of Florida students and alum gather for Saturday football games, and there is no better spot to watch the Lightning playoffs or bring the dog.
