Besides the game and the talent on the field that earned the 1 star, everything else about the event was as mediocre as can be. There weren't enough concessions open, so getting food took FOREVER before and during the game. The food was low quality,...More

Steinbrenner Field is a beautiful state-of-the-art facility which doubles as a spring training ballpark (the largest in Florida) for the New York Yankees as well as the home field for the Tampa Yankees, who play in the Class A Advanced Florida State League. The stadium...More

Most people come to Steinbrenner Field for spring training, but we drove across the state for a Class A Tampa Yankees minor league game. Steinbrenner Field is beautiful and recently renovated. There’s a nice display out front with plaques describing all the players whose numbers...More

Great little stadium with terrible food options. Sound was very loud--kind of jarring. Dipping Dots (sad excuse for ice cream), hard soft pretzels, buckets of fries and $9 beers. Great seating options. Park across street and take the bridge over Dale Mabry. The layout was...More

Love all the new updates to the stadium. Added seating in outfield with tarp covers. They also built two restaurant/bars at the corners. And new food offerings. Prices were high compared to Rays Tropicana prices. And they would not even let you bring in empty...More

A must see for Yankee fans and those who just love the game. Very nice park. Great crowd. Low key compared to the Bronx. Good food and beverages. Parking lots nearby. Check the training schedule and get autographs. My son and I were there a...More

Attended a Yankees game with visitors from NY. Had great loge seats and enjoyed the game. Only caution is to be aware of the concession stands. Used a credit card and had it skimmed by an employee. Over $400 charged in Brooklyn a day later,...More

We attended a Yankees spring training game while on vacation over Spring Break, and loved this little ballpark. The park is immaculate and well laid out. They had great food, a decent selection of beer and parking right across the street. It was very easy...More

No but the prices inside are insanely reasonable compared to major league ballparks. I had a jumbo hot dog, large fries, and big drink for about the price of one regular dog in a major league stadium..

Paved but if you're going to tailgate I suggest parking in the lot across the street from the stadium (connected by a pedestrian bridge), not the lot at the stadium entrance.

Yes, you park just across the street. It has a walkway across the street so it's very safe to cross.
