"Typical" brew-pub, though bigger than many.

As expected, the restaurant is in an industrial-type building design to house the beer brewing operations rather than a restaurant. The appearance and atmosphere are typical for the genre. Parking was close, free, and easy.

The menu is long and consists of mainly pub food. There are many fresh beer options. I enjoyed my meal and felt they delivered on their promise of a brew-pub experience.

We visited with friends who knew the area and recommended we try this establishment. Nice microbrewery atmosphere with ample seating area, bar area and merchandise area. Our server was very attentive, got us our beers and food in a timely manner. Nice brew pub menu with many choices. Good list of beers to satisfy most any desires. Ample parking in their attached lot. Would definitely visit again.

At the Tampa International Airport, Cigar City Brewing has a restaurant where I passed some time waiting for my plane, which was 2 hours late. I ordered a Cuban sandwich and a pale ale. Both were tasty and worth the price. However, I had lost my cell phone in the terminal! I didn;t realize that at the time, but when I did the staff at the restaurant was totally helpful in trying to find the phone, calling the number, making suggestions, etc. In the end I found the phone near the gate that I had visited to check on the plane's departure. The staff made the visit pretty good, and I have to thank them, knowing that if any other traveller gets into the same situation they will do their best to help.

stopped in, with an out of town guest, for a couple of beers and some appetizers. we've always enjoyed cigar city beers, but this is the first time we ever had any food, probably the last time.
we ordered the pretzel sticks with dips and guacamole. the guacamole was served with just a few pita chips, bizarre. why not traditional tortilla chips? the guac was good, but the pairing with the pita bread was not. the pretzel sticks had SOOOOOO much salt on them, we were scraping it off and they were still salt. the cheesy beer dip, too, was also salty.
i think we'll still stop in for the beer, but skip the food

My husband loves brewery's, I don't. However Cigar City has one of my new favorite beers, the Florida Cracker, and I was perfectly fine with stopping here on our way to the airport. We had been in Clearwater for a few days and I purposely didn't get a Cracker cause I wanted to have a draft from the brewery itself. Surprise surprise, we got there, were shown to a table and given the food and drink menu. Immediately searched for the Cracker, it wasn't on there so I asked the server and was informed that they were out but I could buy the cans and put them in my checked bag...I can get cans at home. I wanted a draft from the source. Whatever, needless to say I didn't have a beer since it was the only one that liked/wanted. We did order food. It eventually came out. My husband's flat bread was desperately under seasoned. I had a burger with fries. Burger was under seasoned and dry, a sauce or a glaze would have done wonders. Somehow the fries came out half under done and half over done? Never seen that before...We checked the website prior to see if there was anything we needed to know such as not having the Florida Cracker, didn't say anything. No sign on the door, nothing. Overall a huge disappointment.

We visited Tampa on a whim and stopped by Cigar City Brewing with our small kids. The staff is friendly, beers are great. The tours were cancelled indefinitely, so we'd like to try it next visit. I heard it's $8 per adult which was a good deal seeing how you get samples. The food looked good, decently priced. A nice place to visit and it's dog friendly too.

Went for lunch and did a flight. The beer selection is large and all were very good. The fun stops there. This was a Tues early afternoon and I was one of 3 people at a bar that I guess seats 40+.

The server was attentive until my meal arrived and I didn’t see him again until I was done.

I ordered the meatloaf which he said would fill me up. It arrived with mashed, fried plantains and a squash medley. The meatloaf was a medium portion, and had very little of their palpeta sauce. It was extremely dense and dry. Whatever flavor it may have had was long gone due to the over cooking. The palpeta sauce seemed to be a basic store bought marinara and a poor one at that quite bland, the max was in the same boat very dense and bland, unressurrectable with pepper and salt.

At this point I wondered if maybe I had COVID and had lost my taste. Digging into the squash I found them tasty but just north of mush. The fried plantains were hit crisp and very good.

The lack of attention by the server and the poor meal far over shadow the quality of the beer. Very disappointed.

I’ve been on their tour multiple times and never get tired of the history and complimentary beer samples! Price for the tour is cheap and the beer in the tasting room is decently priced too. Love the atmosphere and the authentic/rustic feel of this place. Can’t wait to go back!

We were so lucky to visit Tampa just after Cigar City re-opened its tap room after being closed for renovations. The excellent beer and the super friendly staff were the highlights of our visit. We especially loved the barrel-aged selections, though Cigar City has great quality in many beer styles. We will come back whenever we're in Tampa.

I stopped for a drink and dinner. Ordered my drink and asked to order food. I was told there will be no food until 7 pm(was 6:30). At 7:10 I asked again about food and was told they knew nothing about when food might be available. On the way out I stopped and purchased a t-shirt. The hostess asked how everything was and I replied it would have been better if I could have gotten something to eat. Asked why they were not serving and was told that it is spring break and they were busy. I replied yes, but why is the kitchen closed to which she replied weren't you listening. It is spring break and we were busy. Sounds like they need a new kitchen manager who can prepare for a busy day.
