We went to see the temptations soul group and it was in this little room and it was the worse situation I have ever had going to the Straz. The room was like the music was bouncing off the walls and the sound was really...More

Beautiful facility with multiple stages and venues for performing arts. Every season brings a well rounded and entertaining lineup. Located in Downtown Tampa Florida on a waterfront walk along a lovely river.

We attended to see Hamilton and arrived 15 minutes before the performance. With access to rows being limited to each end we found that we were constantly having to stand to allow people to be seated. Bad design as a central aisle would have alleviated...More

Amazing place! Easy access, everyone is very friendly. As I went just for the weened to see the play at hand. We had front row balcony. Wonderful seats. But, I will say, there is not a bad seat in the house.

We saw "Hamilton" on Thursday Feb 28,2019 at the Straz Center. The theatre itself was very nice and well laid out. It is pretty large by Broadway standards, so there is certainly a lack of intimacy, but that really cannot be helped. We enjoyed Hamilton...More

My husband and I saw C.S. Lewis in Ferguson Hall of The Straz this past Saturday, February 16, 2019. It was our first time visiting The Straz and we definitely learned a few things for future reference. First of all, pre-pay for parking! Initially we...More

This was my second time to the Straz, this time to see Les Mis. We enjoyed the performance, and, once again, found the Center to be well run. The week before the show, I received 3-4 emails & even a Robocall from the Straz, advising...More

Saw Les Miserables...the show was fabulous. The theater is amazing. Have been before. First time box seats. So few theaters have box seats. Worth going to the shows every time.
