Join us on a two hour tour to learn their stories as you walk the streets of this historic town with your guide.Tours begin at 6:30 p.m.Monday through Wednesday and 8 p.m. on every other night. Reservations are required. $25. per adult.

Max was our tour guide, extremely truthful an insightful about the history of the city and the reason why it carries spirits that it does. we caught phenomenal activity and evidence in just one location.... I would say that this tour guide Max has a very unique relationship with the spirits that benefit you to experiment and find your own truth of what you're looking for Max can help you guide through and help also debunk your evidence. Well respected, obviously he shares a passion a love for the spirits that we truly appreciated. Will be seeing him again for more enlightenment. Thank you

You can tell that Max has a passion for Ybor City and Tampa Bay as a whole! This tour isn't your typical ghost tour. You learn so much about Ybor's tumultuous past while exploring the town. His storytelling skills are impeccable, which really makes you feel immersed in the history around you. 10/10 would recommend this tour to any of my friends/family in town or planning a visit! Thank you for a great time!

We booked this ghost tour, not so much for the ghosts, but to hear and see the history of the people and buildings in Ybor during bygone eras. So imagine our surprise when we ended up snapping a picture of a ghost! On this particular evening, a storm was brewing over the city so Max moved us into shelter at the Circulo Cubano. As we listened to Max tell the story of the incident that happened in the theater, my husband snapped this one picture on selfie mode and we knew right away we had captured something. Max confirmed it was a ghost 😬 and we were stunned! It didn’t help that at this point there was lightning and thunder crashing over the building! Max did a great job leading the tour and guiding us around teaching us the history and helping us understand the paranormal activity we experienced. 100% recommend!

I have gone on this tour two times. I went for a second time because I had so much fun the first time. The person giving the tour was Steve and I am thrilled he was doing the tour last night. Steve is not only an incredible story teller, he has an amazing amount of historical understanding of every stop we went to explore. This second time was even more informative than the first because we were able to go to 2 places I had not seen in the previous tour. Steve makes the tour enjoyable and educational. He also seems to truly care about his groups.
While I did have some sensory experiences on the first tour and plenty of excitement during both, I love that Steve has photos from previous tours to share.
There is truly a tremendous amount of ghosts and spooky things in Ybor City. I highly doubt that Steve is lacking in knowing about any of them.
This is totally worth the money and I was happy to bring cash so that I could tip Steve even further for his wonderful in depth ghost history.

Awesome tour! I have been on one ghost tour in every place I travel to and this by far has been the best one. I think we were told at least 10 different stories and usually they tell 4-5 in a normal tour in any other city. We also went into a haunted building which has never happened for me before either. I also caught what I think is a ghost of a little girl in a photo. See image- left side by the wall next to stairs. Tom was a great guide!

My family are original Immigrants to Ybor City who came with the Cigar Trade from Spain and Italy.
Tom Floyd was amazing. We all learned a lot. My Dad, Mom, Daughter and I heard compelling stories and visited the actual locations where the many stories of the Tampa underworld took place. We learned that Ybor City, and Tampa was ruled by notorious wise guys like Charlie Wall and others who were linked to many historic events that took place in Cuba and although not confirmed, may have had their hands in the assignation of JFK. Wow.
Highly recommended this great tour.

Steve did a wonderful job telling the history and ghost stories. So I feel bad saying It was a lot of standing and listening to Steve, but my husband tuned out at some point. We spent maybe 15-20 mins in the cuban theater which was amazing and the best part of the tour. There was a band playing in the one building so we didnt get to go inside and come 1020 pm we were ready to head home. Also Ybor city past 10 pm is not our scene at all. We didnt really care to walk down the main strip.

Very exciting and interesting ghost tour. Steve provides interesting and ironic background and history on each of the sites. I didn't realize how rich in history Ybor City was! The final tour of the Cuban Cultural Center will leave you feeling a little uneasy, as the you get to tour the building at night in the darkness. It was a lot of fun. The adults were having just as much fun as the kids. Steve is a great storyteller and he keeps things on edge. Highly recommend whether you are a long time resident or tourist new to the city.

We did the Downtown Tampa Ghost Tour and had a great time! We have been on a few tours with Max in the past, including the Ybor Ghost Tour, and he is always THE BEST! We love his tours because they are centered around real history of the area and not fake, made-up stories or over-the-top theatrics like a lot of other ghost tours. Max is a phenomenal story teller, and very passionate about the subject and his city. If you are looking for a spooky fun time, while learning a ton, I would HIGHLY recommend both the Downtown Tampa Ghost Tour and Ybor Ghost Tour, especially if you are from the Tampa area and don't already realize the historical significance of the area and buildings you might already be driving past and never think twice about. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Max, we will definitely be back for more!

Max was outstanding and would definitely do it again. My wife and I have been on ghost tours from Williamsburg, Va. to Eastern State Penitentiary, Pennsylvania, up and down the east coast. This was the first on were we caught real orbs, not dust.
Max was very informative and took alot of time telling us about the history and events at each stop. The other family in the group was their 3rd time and was still excited to go back again.
In the end, I would have given a higher rating if I could.

I purchase two tickets off of Groupon and October . I know that October is a busy month for your tour however when I spoke to the young lady I told her any Friday Saturday would be fine never got a response back then I was told I would have to be put on a waiting list. Never heard anything. Then I asked for any weekend in November I ask any weekend in november . I received an email wanting me to purchase two dinner tickets before the tour . When I call to make the reservations the lady on the phone knew who I was has had the emails from Groupon and myself but said I had no tickets and actually called me a liar. when I call to make the reservations the lady on the phone I knew who I was has had the emails from google com and my cell Groupon did refund my money but I am sure on how your people talk to your customers going on did we find my money but I am shocked on how your people talk to your customers this is not how a professional business is run .

Just to refute what the attraction rep said. There has been a Groupon special for this tour and I was treated in nearly the identical fashion as the original poster. I even have a review from 2014 saying as much.
How much does the tour cost and his long is it?
