Tampa Bay Fishing Charters are fun and action filled adventures for people of all ages and skill levels. Some of the species that can be targeted are Snook,Redfish,Trout, Tarpon,Cobia,Sharks,Kingfish,Spanish Mackerel and more! Your adventure will be aboard a fully equipped and well maintained 24' Action Craft that will float in less than 12" of water but is stable enough to handle the chop of Tampa Bay and the coastal waters along the beach. Every charter includes all the rods,reels,tackle bait,fishing licenses and more. Tampa Bay Fishing Charters serves Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater. Took my three sons and my son-in-law out fishing with Captain Steve Betez before Father’s Day. Steve guided us to Snappers, Mackerels, trout and even a couple of Puffer fish. Steve knew where to find the fish, the proper depth to fish, as well as the proper bait to use. Importantly, he worked hard to keep our lines baited and in the water and catching fish. Steve is quite knowledgeable and personable as well. If you’re looking for a fun day of fishing, I highly recommend Capt Steve and Tampa Flats and Bay Fishing Charters. We had a wonderful time and will be back.

That was a fun day for sure John! I enjoyed having you all and I look forward to seeing you again for a Tampa Bay Fishing Charter. Hopefully next time the Snook will be a little more cooperative.

Positively great day on the water! Clean, spacious boat, with Captain Steve aboard, met us at the dock on time and ready to depart. We awoke at 6:00am to heavy fog in Redington Beach. I reached out to him at that hour and he was already at the dock and let us know they had clear skies there on the Bay and we would be "good-to-go". Steve put us on 8 different types of fish, including a nice jack fish and large trout. We caught upwards of 30 fish in total that morning. Steve is knowledgeable, friendly, and certainly knows where to put his customers for good fishing based on time of year and weather conditions. Great guy to talk to while you're on the water. His rods and reels were in good shape and properly rigged for the type of fishing we did. He had more than enough live bait to keep our hooks in the water at all times. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful trip with Captain Steve to start off the New Year. Was able to fish with my father for the first time in 12 years and Steve did a great job putting us on nice sized snook, trout and jacks. From the start to the end of the day it was constant action for all of us and it was a really excellent time. Every fishing trip with Captain Steve has been excellent and I will be back later this summer!

Captain Steve is the best captain around. He had us on the fish all day. He cleaned the fish at the end of the day and provided recommendations on how to cook. Highly recommend Captain Steve for your next fishing adventure.

Captain Steve worked hard to put us on fish in spite of warmer water temps. We caught a great variety of fish and had a blast. No time was wasted, as when things slowed down in a particular area, we pulled in our rods and sped off to a new location to try our luck elsewhere. Steve knows his stuff and is no nonsense on maximizing the time spent on the water!

Captain Steve Betz was great! He answered all our questions before the trip, confirmed the trip details the day before and was waiting for us at the dock right on time. He was very knowledgeable of the area and got us on fish right away. He worked hard the entire trip to make sure we caught fish. My son and I had fun and caught many fish! It was a great morning on the water. We recommend Steve for anyone looking for a great charter fishing experience.

We definitely had to work had for all the bites. Sometimes the fish just don't want to be caught.
Fortunately there were some that were willing to eat what we offered.

We had a great charter with Captain Steve. He was friendly, entertaining and it quickly felt like he had been hanging out with our group for years. We all had lots of success with the fish and had a great lunch at Dead Bob's Too with our catch! Next time we are in Tampa, we will 100% call Captain Steve to take us out again.

Excellent day on the water with Captain Steve! Very professional and personable while answering our questions and offering stories and jokes! What a great guide with a nice boat, a wealth of knowledge, and he always kept our bait fresh. We caught several species on a beautiful sunny morning. We had much fun with him, so much that we welcome him to our neck of the woods in North Dakota if he’s ever in the area. Thank you so much, Captain Steve, hope to book with you again!!

Went out today with captain Steve. First off, he replied quickly to my initial text to book a trip. He was in touch with me prior and on time at the doc ready and waiting with bait fish. I was with my two boys and father. Capt. Had us all on fish throughout the day. We broke up things by moving on when the bite stopped. Everyone had a great time and the captain was friendly and very attentive to our needs. Thanks!

Capt. Steve was first rate. Beautiful clean boat. He found lots of fish. He was great company and helped our family had a great day. We caught 30+ fish including snook, trout, catfish, jackfish and ladyfish. We saw dolphins and a manatee. The trip would have been great regardless of all that thanks to how prepared he was. Don’t hesitate to book a trip with Capt. Steve!

Great question.
I did do one charter where I had two customers that wanted to split a charter. I went ahead and made the arrangements for them to fish together with me. Unfortunately for them personality's clashed between them. It made for a uncomfortable trip for both of them and me.
Since that incident I do not any longer mix charters.
If you would like to call me maybe I could work something out to accommodate you doing a charter with me or possibly another captain in my net work.
